Chapter 19: An Exciting New Bond

The days after Taehyung's first messages were a whirlwind of excitement, humor, and curiosity.

It felt like every time I opened the app, I was greeted by his playful texts, accompanied by a ridiculous amount of emojis that made both Yoongi and I laugh each time.

He had this way of making even the simplest things feel exciting and new.

Hey guys! Soooo... I was thinking... I really, really wanna meet you two this weekend! What do you think? 😆🎢

Yoongi and I exchanged a glance across the kitchen table as I read his message aloud, unable to hide my smile.

"An amusement park? That's definitely... a first," Yoongi said with a raised eyebrow, looking at me.

His lips quirked into a grin. "But hey, why not?"

I giggled. "Taehyung seems like a ball of energy, doesn't he? He's definitely the kind of person to suggest something like this."

Yoongi chuckled, leaning back in his chair. "True. But I think it'll be fun."

Yessss!! You guys are the best!! 🙏🎉 I was thinking the big amusement park outside the city, the one with all the roller coasters and crazy rides!!

I promise it'll be a blast! Also, I have no idea if you're into it, but I'm super excited for the food there. 😋🍟

I couldn't help but laugh at Taehyung's enthusiasm. He was always so bubbly, so genuine with every message, that it made him incredibly easy to like.

His excitement was infectious, and it made me look forward to this weekend in a way I hadn't expected.

The idea of meeting him in person, seeing if the energy he brought in his VR content which yoongi and I binged watched one night and was genuinely impressed with, matched his presence in real life.

It had me genuinely excited.

I could feel the tension in my chest melt as I hit send.

Taehyung's vibe was so warm and open, it felt like everything was meant to be.

Yoongi, ever so calm and collected, still looked amused as he read the messages.
"You know, I think I'm starting to understand why you're so excited," Yoongi said, his voice soft.

"He's... a lot of fun to talk to."

I nodded, squeezing his hand across the table. "I feel like he's already become a part of us, somehow. Like he's always been here."

Yoongi's gaze softened, and his thumb brushed gently over the back of my hand. "Yeah, I feel that too."

As the days passed, the messages didn't stop. It was like Taehyung was with us in some way, even though we hadn't met yet.
