Chapter 24: Finding Light in the Pressure

The days were flying by, and the countdown to our safari date with Taehyung was officially on.

It felt like all of us were counting down the hours, eagerly anticipating the weekend.

We couldn't help but keep the playful energy alive through our group chat, with messages flying back and forth throughout the day.

Taehyung's excitement hadn't cooled down a bit; if anything, it was building up.

Every time I checked my phone, I was greeted with more messages about what animals he was excited to see, his ever-growing list of photo ideas, and even some humorous photos he found online to hype us up.

Yoongi, on the other hand, kept teasing Taehyung with his usual dry humor, pretending to be annoyed, but I could tell there was a fondness behind each word.

But work-work was a whole different beast.

As the product manager of LoveMap, there was no shortage of things to juggle.

The new update for the app was coming up fast and was moving full speed ahead.

There was so much to do.

The office was buzzing with tension, and despite the excitement of the weekend drawing closer, we had to keep our heads in the game.

Si Woo, our lead developer, was glued to his desk most of the day, his eyes scanning through lines of code with intense focus. Jae was refining the interface to make sure the app was not only functional but beautiful, intuitive for users.

Ha Eun was busy preparing the outreach plan for our new app features, while Yoongi-despite his own busy schedule in cybersecurity-was quietly troubleshooting potential security risks for the update.

I could feel the weight of it all pressing down on us, but at the same time, there was a shared sense of purpose that made everything manageable.

We were all determined to make this launch a success.

I glanced over at my phone again and smiled at the latest message from Taehyung.

I couldn't help but laugh, shaking my head. The thought of Taehyung going full-on safari enthusiast was too endearing.

And then there was Yoongi, always a little more reserved, but I could feel the affection and amusement behind his words.

That was the beauty of it-how they balanced each other out.

Despite the growing to-do list for the app, we had been taking small moments to keep the mood light with messages like this.

It was almost a necessity, a way to keep the stress at bay.

I turned back to my desk, staring at the open spreadsheet for the Purple Hope Project.
