Chapter 112 : The Cracks that Rebuilt Us 🔥

Start from the beginning

"It is grief," Jimin whispers.

I look at him gently. "Then let's take it outside. Let it breathe a little."

Hobi mutters, "Do we have to talk?"

"No," I say. "You just have to show up."

They all look tired. Suspicious.

But none of them argue.

The grass is soft underfoot.

The sky is too blue for the weight in our hearts.

Blankets are thrown over the lawn.

A few pillows. Tea in thermoses.

Tae stretches out immediately, laying Yeontan beside him, fingers tangling in the fluff of his ears.

Jimin sits cross-legged, eyes closed, head tilted toward the sun like he's praying for forgiveness from something he can't name.

Hobi leans against Jungkook. Doesn't say anything. Just rests there.

Jin hyung hands out tiny honey cakes from a napkin-lined basket.

"I made these at 5 a.m.," he says. "They taste like anxiety."

Everyone chuckles - faint, broken.
But it's something.

Y/N is standing near the flowers.
Silent. Arms crossed.

Joon is ten feet away, hands in his pockets again.

They don't look at each other.

I watch them. I watch all of them.

The tension isn't just between Y/N and Joon anymore.

It's in every hug we're too scared to give.

Every sentence we don't finish.
Every apology that's stuck behind pride and fear and the ache of too much love.

And I want to scream at them.
To just fix it.

But I don't.
I wait.

And then-Wacha slinks across the lawn, brushing against Namjoon's ankle.

She looks up at him like move, and he obeys.

He steps closer to Y/N.
And she feels it.

She stiffens. Doesn't turn.
But she doesn't walk away either.

Joon's voice is low. Raw.
"I'm sorry."

Y/N doesn't speak. Doesn't move.

"I'm sorry I made you feel like your hope was dangerous. Like your heart was a risk. It's the opposite. It's what saves people."
