Chapter 110: A Thousand Unsaid Things

Start from the beginning
                                        

A perfect collision of silence and something else.

He reached for the coffee pot just as she set her mug down. Their fingers almost touched-so close it made my chest ache.

They looked at each other.
Smiled. Tight. Polite.

Like strangers trying not to remember how it felt to laugh in the dark.

Neither said a word.

Yoongi hyung saw it.

His eyes narrowed slightly from where he stood leaning against the counter, hoodie strings uneven and neglected.

Jin hyung, still in pajama pants and a deep blue robe that looked criminally good on him, caught the exchange over the rim of his mug.

His gaze lingered. Said nothing.

Even Tae, eyes half-lidded and tangled in a pillow nest, cracked one open and hummed.

"They're still broken," he mumbled into a cushion, and Tannie snorted like he agreed.

I let the moment pass.
Filed it away with a quiet exhale.

Then I smiled.
Time to make some trouble.

Phase One: Hobi hyung

He was in the sunroom, orange juice in hand, hair tied up, looking like a walking Pinterest board of Sunday mornings.

"That color on you should be illegal."

He jerked, nearly dropped his glass. "Park Jimin!"

I winked, already halfway to the couch. "Just stating facts, sunshine."

Minutes later, he was on the sectional, legs tucked under himself with a magazine open but completely unread.

I flopped down, draping myself across his lap like I belonged there (I did).

He sighed, stroking my back absentmindedly. "You're trouble."

"In elegant swan form," I corrected with a grin.

He tilted his head down, eyes fond. "But my trouble."

I beamed, victorious.
