I step into them without hesitation, wrapping her into a hug that says all the things words could never reach.
"You killed us," I whisper.
"I meant to," she says softly, voice wry, muffled against my jacket.
"You good?" I ask her.
"I'm floating." she responds.
She pulls back, eyes glassy, but her smile is bright. Hobi's next.
He throws his arms around her dramatically, whispering, "I've ascended."
"I saw that kiss, by the way," Jia teases as she pulls away. "I was still backstage. Very romantic."
Hobi beams. "We got pinged."
"Finally," she grins, then softens. "I'm happy for you two. Really."
"We love you," I say simply. "That was... everything."
Her eyes flicker. "Don't tell Jin oppa."
Hobi and I blink. "What?"
She waves her hands. "I mean, not yet. He's coming to the final show next week. I want him to see it raw. With no spoilers. No heads up. Just... feel it. Like you did."
I nod slowly, already knowing exactly what she means.
"He would absolutely love it and he would be so proud of you."
"Thanks Yoongi Oppa," she says. "So swear it."
Hobi dramatically raises a hand. "On Wacha's snack stash, I swear."
I smirk. "On Tannie's tiny royal bed."
"That's a heavy vow," Jia deadpans.
We hug one more time. And then we leave-still warm, still buzzing.
The car ride back is soaked in that delicious kind of silence.
The kind that lingers right after the final note of a song that changed you.
The kind that says something happened here, and no one wants to disturb the echo of it just yet.
Hobi's hand is still laced with mine, thumb drawing slow circles on my knuckle. I glance over, expecting him to still be floating-but he's already tapping away on his phone.
"Calling Jin hyung?" I ask, even though I already know.
Jin hyung's been in Australia all week for a trial. It's weird not having his dramatic sighs echoing through the halls.
He lifts the phone to his ear. "Of course."

It rings once. Twice.
Then his voice barrels through the speaker like a thunderclap of sass and caffeine.
