“Y/N!” Tae called, chasing after me, wide-eyed and giddy. “Noona, tell me!”
“Not yet!” I laughed, dodging his reach.
Joon jogged up behind me. “Come on, don’t leave us hanging!”
Oppa was already shaking his head.
“I’m suing you for emotional damage.”
Yoongi smirked. “I’ll help.”
I ran a little faster, feeling Tae on my heels, the sound of his laughter bright behind me.

The courtroom doors swung open ahead.
Sunlight spilled in. We didn’t look back. Because we didn’t need to.
Taehyung was free. And the missing pieces were finally coming home.
Everything was falling into place. And soon…We’d all be together.

Hoseok’s POV
The second we stepped out of the courthouse, I didn’t let go.
Jungkook’s hand stayed wrapped in mine like it belonged there. Like it always had.
The light outside was golden, cutting through the cold as if it knew what had happened inside those walls—that something dark had finally been broken, and light was allowed in again.
I stopped. Right there on the stone steps.
And I turned to him. His eyes were already on me, warm and shining.
I stepped into his arms and hugged him. Tight.
“Thank you,” I whispered against his neck, voice already thick with emotion.
“For pushing me to come here. For… for not letting me run from this.”
Kook exhaled softly, his nose brushing against my hair before he kissed the top of my head—slow, deliberate, like it meant everything.
“Thank you for trusting me, hyung.”
I closed my eyes and held him tighter. We stayed like that until the cold made us start to laugh.
Then, still hand-in-hand, we made our way down the steps, the world blurring around us as the sun set.
Our fingers swung lightly between us, casual, warm, but filled with electric anticipation.
“We really witnessed it,” kook said, voice full of awe. “Taehyung hyung… the way he stood there.”
“Like a king,” I whispered, eyes wide, heart aching. “He was so… beautiful.”
