    And he looked at me again-eyes clear with something between gratitude and relief.

    "Im your hyung, ofcourse I'm mature like that," 
    I playfully looked at him and then replied gently, 
    "you'll tell me when you're ready." 
    He snorts then smiled 
    "Yeah," he said. "Yeah, I will." 
    Yeontan shifted beside us, tail thumping once as he stretched his body across both our legs like a warm, fuzzy bridge. 
    Jungkook reached out and rested his hand on Tan's back, his palm slow, steady. 
    "They're warm," Jungkook said suddenly, almost to himself. 
    "I can feel it. How warm they are." 
    He wasn't talking about the dog. 
    I looked at him, heart soft. 
    "They are," I agreed quietly. 
    "They really are." 
    We stayed like that for a moment. 
    No game. 
    No noise. 
    Just soft light and shared space. 
    And then Jungkook bumped my shoulder with his again and said, 
    "Okay, Mario Kart King. Time for you to lose your crown." 
    I grinned. "Bring it, loser." 
    We laughed, bright and open, and we picked our characters again, Yeontan nestled between us like he was born there. 
    The night stretched on-color and comfort and low, happy chaos.
