"He does," Jungkook agreed, gently booping his nose.

"He's got that 'I could own your soul if I wanted to' kind of energy."

"Now you know where he learned it from,"

I said smugly.

Jungkook rolled his eyes, but he was still smiling when he leaned back again.

Yeontan climbed up beside him like they'd been best friends forever.

"I have a dog too," Jungkook said after a moment, a hint of softness in his voice that pulled my attention from the screen.

"His name's Bam. He's a red and tan Doberman."

I sat up straighter, eyes lighting up.

"No way. A Doberman?"

He nodded, pulling out his phone to show me a photo-Bam mid-zoomies, ears flying, looking like the most majestic chaos gremlin I'd ever seen.

"Oh my God, he's gorgeous," I said, grinning.

"Majestic, deadly, and adorable. Like a Pokémon final evolution."

Jungkook laughed.

"He's a baby. Big baby. Sleeps on my legs and hogs the bed."

"I need to meet him. I bet Yeontan and Bam would be chaos together. Like, apocalyptic chaos."

"That's a terrifying thought,"

Jungkook said, but he was smiling again, all charming and warmth.

"But yeah... maybe one day."

I rose to grab more snacks from the kitchen, calling over my shoulder,

"We could organize a playdate. Make them wear little sweaters. Start an Instagram. 'Dobie and Diva.' We'll be famous."

Jungkook snorted.

"You've thought about this too much."

I returned with two sodas and a bowl of chips, collapsing onto the couch again.

Jungkook took one, his fingers brushing mine briefly. Casual.

But something about the touch still sparked warmth through my chest.

He glanced around the room between sips.

"Your place is nice," he said suddenly.

"Like... it really feels like you."

I raised a brow. "What does that mean?"

He waved vaguely.

"It's modern, but weird. Like, you've got all this sleek furniture, but also that corner statue of a frog in a top hat playing the violin."

"Sir Hopsalot," I said proudly.

"He guards the living room from bad vibes."

"And he's doing a great job,"

Jungkook giggled.

I bumped his shoulder.

"Shut up. You love it here."

"I do," he said simply. Then added,

"That's why it's weird you're moving."

I blinked. "Oh-yeah. In two months."

He turned toward me more fully now, curiosity furrowing his brows. "Why?"

I hesitated, a hand running through my hair.
