Chapter 80: Love, Laughter & Liquor

Start from the beginning

Taehyung only grins wider, leaning lazily against the counter, utterly unrepentant.

"What can I say? Being the ultimate soulmate means keeping you all on your toes."

Jin oppa sighs, shaking his head before pulling Tae into a firm side hug.

"Yeah, yeah. You're just lucky we love you."

Taehyung barely has a second to gloat before Jin oppa tilts his chin up and presses a lingering kiss to his lips-warm, familiar, and full of unspoken affection.

Taehyung melts into it, but before he can get too lost, Jin pulls away with a playful smirk.

Yoongi hums, stepping in next, his fingers slipping into Taehyung's hair as he captures his lips in a kiss that's slower, deeper-like he's savoring him.

Taehyung makes a soft sound against him, gripping Yoongi's shirt, but Yoongi pulls back just enough to whisper against his lips, "Menace."

His smirk betrays the fondness in his voice.

Namjoon is next, coming up behind Taehyung and wrapping strong arms around his waist before pressing a kiss to the side of his neck, then another just below his jaw, making Taehyung shiver.

"Lucky," Namjoon murmurs, lips brushing his skin, "doesn't even cover it."

I step forward last, cupping Taehyung's face between my hands before kissing him soft and sweet, pouring every bit of my love into it.

He sighs into me, utterly pliant now, as if he's been completely unraveled by the weight of our affection.

By the time I pull away, Taehyung's eyes are lidded, his breath shaky, his lips slightly swollen from the attention.

He looks dazed, blinking at us like he's trying to process being adored so thoroughly.

Jin oppa chuckles, ruffling his hair.

"Look at you, all quiet for once."

Yoongi smirks, bumping his hip against Taehyung's.

"You really are so lucky."

Taehyung exhales, dazed but grinning.

"Damn right I am."

And really, that's what this is-love in all its forms, tangled in laughter, teasing, and the undeniable gravity that pulls us back to each other, over and over again.

As we fall into the easy rhythm of preparing the meal, the air hums with something unspoken yet deeply understood-a love so effortless, so eternal, that it fills every space between us.

It lingers in the stolen glances, the teasing brushes of hands, the laughter that bounces off the walls and settles deep in our bones.

It's in these little moments-the playful chaos, the warmth of bodies moving in sync, the unshakable sense of belonging-that everything feels so right.

I take a step back, watching the people I love move around the kitchen, their laughter mixing with the soft hum of holiday music.

Oppa is fussing over the table settings, his perfectionism in full force, while Yoongi tries-and fails-to sneak another taste of a side dish.

Jin oppa smacks his hand away with a playful glare, but the fondness in his eyes betrays him.

Namjoon and Taehyung are still bickering over the decorations, their voices overlapping-Namjoon advocating for minimalism, Taehyung insisting on adding just one more centerpiece.

They're inches from a full-on debate when Namjoon, exasperated but smitten, gives in with a dramatic sigh and pulls Taehyung into a kiss, effectively shutting him up.
