He tilted his head, his eyes gleaming with mischief.
"Can I join?"
I groaned, burying my face in Namjoon's chest as he burst into laughter.
Taehyung simply smirked.
"No, seriously. That was some soulmate-level kissing. I feel left out."
Joon threw an arm around my shoulders, shaking his head. "You're impossible."
"And you love me," Tae sang.
I peeked up at Namjoon, who was still grinning, the happiness in his eyes undeniable.
"Unfortunately." Joon teased.
And for the first time in a long, long time-he looked at peace.

A few hours after taehyung had left to give us some space to make out (Lol).
We walked back to the lodge holding each other's hands.
We took the long route, just silently basking each other's presence between whispers of I love yous and shared kisses along a stone-paved walkway that felt like a dream I never want to wake up from.
It was already night time by the time we reached the cabin but the feelings of our shared connection still overwhelm me-in a good way.
I squeeze Namjoon's hand as we step onto the porch, the crisp night air wrapping around us like a quiet acknowledgment that we're here, that we're real.
The confirmation of our soul bond still hums between us, a golden thread of something inevitable, something infinite.
Every glance, every brush of fingers, every heartbeat feels magnified-like the universe has tilted just slightly to make room for us.
I glance at him, and he's already looking at me, dimples carving deep into his cheeks.
"You're really stuck with me now," he teases, lifting our joined hands to press a slow, lingering kiss against my knuckles.
I laugh softly, leaning into him. "Like I'd want it any other way."
I glance down on my phone, the screen still lit with the latest Soulmap update.
There, in the gentle glow of the cabin lights, I see it-our names linked by glowing red lines, the unmistakable mark of soulmates.
And just below it, another connection shining just as bright, Jin oppa and Yoongi.
Namjoon whistles low, shaking his head. "I know right? Took them long enough."
"They're probably saying the same thing about us," I reply, nudging him playfully.
With excitement buzzing between us, we push open the cabin door, and warmth immediately envelops us.
