Chapter 79: Interrupted Kisses & Unfinished Business

Start from the beginning

It was everything-the years of longing, the pain of separation, the unspoken words that had built between us.

His hands held me firmly, pulling me in, as if he could pour every ounce of love he had into this moment.

I melted into him, my hands gripping his coat, pulling him impossibly closer. His lips were warm despite the cold, soft yet urgent, each kiss deeper than the last.

A soft moan escaped me as he tilted his head, deepening the kiss, his fingers tangling in my hair.

It was overwhelming, consuming, like we were finally breathing after years underwater.

And then-

*Ding!*

The sound barely registered, but Namjoon pulled back just enough for us to glance at our phones, breathless and dazed.

The LoveMap app notification glowed on the screen.

You have reached the Romantic Connection Phase with Y/N.

You have reached the Romantic Connection Phase with Namjoon.

I blinked. He blinked.

Then we both burst into laughter, giggles bubbling out of us as we glanced at each other.

The warmth of the moment wrapping around us like a shield against the cold.

"Guess it's official," I teased, breathless.

Namjoon grinned, dimples deep.

"Guess so."

He leaned in again, this time slower, softer, his breath mingling with mine in the cold air.

The kiss was different now-less desperate, more certain.

His lips moved against mine with a tenderness that sent warmth flooding through my entire body, chasing away the winter chill.

It was deep, deliberate, each movement filled with unspoken promises.

His hands framed my face, his fingers threading into my hair as he pulled me closer, as if there was still too much space between us.

I felt the slow, aching slide of his lips against mine, the way he took his time, savoring every second.

It was intoxicating, the way he kissed-like he was memorizing me, like he never wanted to stop.

I gasped softly as he tilted his head, deepening the kiss, his tongue brushing against mine in a slow, sensual dance.

Heat pooled in my stomach, spreading through my veins like fire. My hands clutched at his coat, pulling him flush against me, needing more, needing him.

He groaned into my mouth, his grip tightening. The sound sent shivers down my spine, and I felt myself melt completely, losing myself in him.

His lips left mine only to trail a path down my jaw, pressing heated kisses to my skin.

My breath hitched as he nipped at the sensitive spot beneath my ear before returning to my lips, claiming me once again.

God, I could drown in this. In him.

The world faded away, the sound of the ice rink and the ski lodge, the cold air, everything disappeared until there was only us.

The slow slide of his lips, the teasing stroke of his tongue, the way he held me like I was something precious, something irreplaceable.

And just as I lost myself in it again-

"God, that was hot."

We jerked apart, turning to see Taehyung standing a few feet away, grinning like the devil himself.
