Jin oppa lets out a soft, oof, but immediately wraps his arms around me, holding me close.
I giggle, nuzzling into his shoulder. “Hi, oppa.”
Jin oppa hums, pressing his chin against my head. “Hi, sweetheart.”
I sigh, relaxing against him. “Why aren’t you skiing?”
Jin oppa chuckles. “Because I enjoy watching you all be menaces to society.”
I snort. “We’re not that bad.”
Oppa leans in, whispering in my ear.
“Baby, you faceplanted five times.”
I groan, hiding my face in his shoulder as he laughs.

Then, he murmurs, “This is nice.”
I look up at him, smiling. “Yeah?”
He nods, brushing his fingers through my hair. “I like this. Just us.”
My heart melts.
I cup his cheek, my thumb brushing over his skin. “Me too.”
His gaze flickers to mine, and there’s something softer in his expression. Something unspoken.

He smiles. “Yeah.”
I nod, immediately getting up. “Let’s go.”
Jin oppa laughs, helping me up before we both head toward the lodge to drop off our ski equipment.
We walk. Hand in hand. Through the snow, just the two of us, the world quiet and beautiful around us.
It’s just us. And it’s perfect.
The world outside is still, the crisp winter air biting at my cheeks as Jin oppa and I walk side by side, our footprints leaving a quiet trail in the fresh snow.

The resort is nestled between towering pine trees, their branches dusted in white, stretching into the endless sky.
The sun hangs low, casting long, golden shadows across the snow, making the entire scene look like something out of a painting.
It’s beautiful. Peaceful.
And after the absolute chaos of the last twenty-four hours, I think we both needed this moment to just breathe.
