Chapter 74: Ski Slopes and Scandals

Start from the beginning

Yoongi finally pulls back, licking his lips, looking so smug, and I cannot stop laughing.

Tae, whispering: “That was hot.”

Namjoon, nodding approvingly.

“Yeah, good form.”

Jin, losing his entire goddamn mind

“I NEED NEW SOULMATES.”

I collapse into Yoongi’s chest, wheezing, as some of the restaurant diners watch us with mild horror and fascination.

Merry. fucking. Christmas.

The ski lodge is bathed in soft golden light, the sun reflecting off the snow-covered mountains outside.

It’s peaceful. Tranquil.

The kind of winter morning that belongs in a postcard.

Too bad the inside of our cabin is the exact opposite of peaceful.

Because Jin oppa is suffering.

“I own that restaurant,” he mutters, staring blankly at his coffee like it holds the answer to why his life turned out this way.

We all blink at him from around the breakfast table.

Yoongi sips his coffee, smirking. “And?”

Oppa lifts his gaze so slowly, eyes dead inside.

“I can’t even go back.”

Silence.

And then—
Tae snickers as he strokes tannie's fur in his arms.

Oppa’s head snaps toward him, eyes blazing.

“Kim Taehyung.”

Tae immediately stifles his laugh behind Tannie, but his shoulders are shaking.

Namjoon, ever the shithead, clears his throat, lips twitching. “Hyung, come on, it wasn’t that bad.”

Jin oppa slams his fork onto the table.

“NOT THAT BAD?” he shrieks. “I had to tip the waitstaff extra for witnessing that public display of debauchery! IN MY RESTAURANT!”

I press my lips together, desperately trying to hold in my laughter.

Because, honestly?
He’s not wrong.
Last night? Was an absolute disaster.

Jin oppa, now officially the most scandalized person on the planet, groans into his hands. “I own that place. My name is on the menu.”

Tae grins. “Guess we’re never eating there again.”

Oppa points at him like he’s about to commit violence.
