Taehyung (Private to Yoongi)
Did you dream of me last night, hyung?

The message was still unread in my notifications, but it didn't matter. I had seen it. Felt it.

And, God help me, I had dreamed of him.

The passenger door opened, and Y/N slid in with a bright smile.

"Morning," she greeted, leaning in to press a soft kiss to my cheek.

Instinctively, I turned toward her, my body recognizing her touch as home.

My soulmate. My love. And yet-my skin still buzzed with the ghost of Taehyung's words.

Y/N pulled back, eyeing me curiously. "You okay? You look..." She tilted her head, smirking. "A little flushed."

I cleared my throat. "It's nothing."

She raised a brow, but before she could press, her phone buzzed. She glanced at the screen and let out a soft laugh.

"The bear cub says good morning."

I swallowed. "Yeah?"

Y/N shot me a knowing look. "Yeah. He also says he hopes you didn't forget about him."

I exhaled sharply, pressing my forehead against the steering wheel for a moment.

Taehyung was going to be the death of me.

And the worst part?
I wasn't sure I minded.

My grip on the steering wheel tightened as I tried to focus on the road ahead.

But it was impossible-not with Y/N beside me, looking effortlessly beautiful in the morning light, her scent filling the car, making my head spin.

And not with Taehyung's words still haunting me, teasing like a whisper against my skin.

"Did you dream of me last night, hyung?"

I exhaled sharply, dragging a hand through my hair before stealing a glance at Y/N. She was scrolling through her phone, oblivious to the war inside me.

"Babe." My voice came out lower than I intended, rough with something I didn't want to name.

Y/N looked up, eyebrows raised. "Hmm?"

I smirked, shifting my grip on the wheel. "You look really pretty today."

She chuckled, amused. "Oh? You finally noticed?"

"I always notice," I murmured, letting my eyes drift over her-the way her blouse hugged her frame, the smooth expanse of her legs crossed casually as she scrolled.

"But today? You're really testing my patience."

Y/N turned toward me, an intrigued smile playing on her lips. "Oh? How so?"

I clicked my tongue, shaking my head. "If I tell you, I might just have to pull over and show you instead."

Y/N laughed, leaning closer. "Maybe I want you to tell me."

My jaw clenched.
God, she was just as bad as Taehyung.

They were both driving me insane.

The next few minutes were a blur, tension crackling between us like static. Every shift of her body, every soft laugh, every stolen glance had me wound tight.

I needed her.
I needed her now.

So instead of heading straight to EchoTech's front entrance, I veered off, pulling into a covered parking area.
