Chapter 68: Clay-Stained Kisses

Start from the beginning

He groans, dramatically clutching his chest. "This is so unfair. You have, like, a million muscles."

I laugh. "It's called working out, Tae."

"I work out too," he mutters.

I shake my head fondly. "Come on, what's the plan for today?"

Taehyung wiggles his brows. "It's a secret."

I raise a brow. "You do know I could just follow you anywhere, right?"

He grins. "Exactly."

I sigh, but my heart is warm. He's so excited about today, and honestly?

It doesn't matter what we do. As long as I get to spend it with him, I'm happy.

We reach the park and slow down, riding side by side through the tree-lined path

We reach the park and slow down, riding side by side through the tree-lined path. It's a gorgeous morning-the sunlight filters through the branches, casting a golden glow over everything.

Taehyung hums beside me, swaying slightly on his bike as he lifts his arms into the air.

I reach out instinctively, steadying him with a hand on his back. "Careful, bear cub."

He turns his head, grinning at me. "You're always taking care of me, huh?"

I smirk, squeezing his side gently. "Someone has to."

He giggles, leaning into my touch just a little longer than necessary before straightening.

We ride like this for a while, side by side, hands brushing occasionally, laughter spilling between us like sunlight through the trees.

And as we glide through the city, I realize something-

This moment, this morning, this boy-
He's already got me.

Completely.

I should've known Taehyung would bring me somewhere like this.

As soon as we lock our bikes outside the art museum, I look at him, shaking my head with a smirk. "You really know me too well, huh?"

Taehyung grins, his fingers tightening around mine. "Of course I do, hyung. And besides-"

He gestures dramatically to the grand entrance of the museum. "You love art. I love romance. And what's more romantic than walking hand in hand through history's masterpieces?"

I exhale a soft laugh, warmth blooming in my chest. "I can't argue with that."

His smile widens, and without warning, he tugs me forward, nearly making me stumble.

"Come on, hyung! Let's go fall in love with some paintings."

I laugh, letting him pull me along.
And honestly? It's so easy to follow him.
