I suck in a quiet breath.
The thought of all of them-me, Yoongi, Tae, Jin Oppa, Namjoon-all intertwined, it presses against my ribs like something warm and sweet.
"It's overwhelming sometimes," I admit, voice hushed.
Tae hums, nodding. "Yeah. But it's beautiful, isn't it? Messy... but beautiful."
I can only nod. "Messy and terrifying... but yeah. Beautiful."
His next words come out quieter, almost like a confession. "It's deeper than I thought it would be. Stronger. Like this invisible thread pulling all of us closer."
My fingers tighten slightly around my glass. "Yeah. I feel it too."
He leans in, voice lowering even more. "Do you ever feel guilty?"
My stomach dips. "What do you mean?"
"For having more than one soulmate," he says, eyes distant now.
"Loving you, Yoongi Hyung, Jin hyung, and Joon hyung already feels so... huge. But now knowing there are others... it makes me feel like... what if I can't give enough to everyone?"
His honesty sinks into my bones like a heavy rain, leaving me raw and open. My heart aches for him.
"I get it," I whisper.
"Sometimes I feel the same. Like there's only so much of me to give." I pause, gathering my thoughts.
"But Tae, it's not about loving less. It's about loving more. About expanding what we thought was possible."
He blinks, visibly processing. "Loving more," he echoes softly.
I nod. "It's like... we're building a home, room by room. Every soulmate adds another space. And there's enough light and warmth to fill every corner."
Tae's eyes flicker, full of quiet wonder. "I like that."
I squeeze his hand gently. "No guilt. No limits."
He swallows hard, then chuckles breathlessly. "Yoongi hyung... he's so careful. He's held me through so much. And he loves you like you hung the stars."
I smile, my heart clenching. "He loves you too, Tae. Even if he's still shy about saying it. You have a romantic connection you know, it's validated and all" I snicker.
He grins shyly, rubbing the back of his neck. "I know. Sometimes I just... think about how much he's taught me about feeling safe."
I hum, my thumb brushing over the back of his hand. "He feels the same about you. You've given him things no one else could."
His eyes glisten, and for a second, it's like the playful, flirty Tae is replaced by the boy who's learned how to survive.
Then, his voice drops to a whisper. "And Joon hyung..."
I smile gently. "What about him?"
Tae laughs softly, shaking his head. "He hasn't even had a one-on-one date with me yet, and I already know he's gonna wreck me."
I snort. "Tae, he wrecks all of us."
He grins. "That's the problem! He looks at me like he's reading every thought in my head. And don't get me started on Jin hyung."
"Oh God," I groan playfully, but my cheeks heat up. "Jin Oppa is... something else."
"Right?" Tae sighs dramatically. "He's like this mix of dad jokes and devastating charm. And when he's soft? Forget it. I'm doomed."
"You're already doomed," I tease.
Tae smirks. "I know. But like, in the best way."
Silence settles for a moment, just the jazz and the low hum of conversation around us.
