Chapter 57: Coffee, Chaos, & Love

Start from the beginning

Before I could react, he gently tugged me closer, his other hand settling at the small of my back, steady and sure.

I barely had time to breathe before his lips met mine-soft, slow, unrushed.

The kind of kiss that wasn't just affection, but a quiet declaration.

Yoongi kissed like he loved me in every language-like he had memorized the shape of my lips and knew exactly how to make me melt into him.

I sighed against his mouth, my hands instinctively sliding up to cup his jaw, feeling the faint stubble beneath my fingertips.

He exhaled softly, pressing just a little closer, his thumb tracing soothing circles against my hip.

Warmth bloomed in my chest, spreading through every inch of me, and for a moment-just a moment-the rest of the world didn't exist.

Just him.
Just us.

I could have stayed there forever-wrapped in the quiet, breathtaking tenderness of Min Yoongi.

And then-
"Are you two kissing without me?!"

Tae's dramatic gasp shattered the moment, making me jump slightly.

Yoongi sighed against my lips before pulling away, pressing one last lingering kiss to the corner of my mouth before turning to Tae with a smirk.

"Jealous, bear cub?"

Tae huffed, crossing his arms. "Obviously."

I giggled, cheeks warm, still feeling lightheaded from the kiss.

But before Tae could protest further-
Yoongi, smug as ever, walked over and kissed Tae on the head.

Tae froze.

I grinned, stepping closer and pressing a soft, lingering kiss to his cheek.

Tae turned bright red.

He buried his face into Yeontan's fur, his voice muffled but happy.

"...I hate you both."

I giggled, while Yoongi simply smirked. "No, you don't."

The apartment was quiet, save for the soft hum of the heater and the occasional shuffle of paws on the floor.

Yoongi, Tae, and I were sprawled across the couch, limbs tangled, warmth radiating between us.

Yeontan had long since claimed his throne on Tae's stomach, tiny paws twitching as he dozed.

Wacha, ever the queen, had perched herself on my lap, eyes half-lidded in feline judgment, her tiny weight grounding me.

For a while, none of us spoke.
We didn't need to.

The day had been long. Intense.
But now?

Now, there was just this.
This warmth.
This love.

And then-
Tae sighed dramatically.

"You know," he mused, scratching behind Yeontan's ears, "Jin-hyung's legal team is actually terrifying."

Yoongi snorted. "Took you this long to figure that out?"

I hummed in agreement, absentmindedly running my fingers through Wacha's fur. "They're all ridiculously competent. It's almost unfair."

Tae nodded, his expression thoughtful. "Jisoo-noona is sharp as hell. She doesn't miss a single detail."

Yoongi chuckled. "She had that entire case file memorized like it was a bedtime story."

I grinned. "Seojun-oppa, too. The way he laid out the financial fraud charges? I actually got chills."
