I pause. "But not about me?"
She grins.
I narrow my eyes. "Dara-"
"Relax," she laughs. "I didn't tell him everything because it's not my story to tell. Taehyung hasn't even met Joon yet. He probably wouldn't want him to hear his trauma from a complete stranger."
I exhale. "Fair enough."
She takes a sip of wine. "I just told him that Yoongi and Y/N were going through something really bad with Taehyung, that they were working from home for months because of it, and that I'm helping them out."
I raise a brow. "Not me?"
Dara grins. "Nope."
I tilt my head. "Why?"
She smirks.
And suddenly I understand.
I bark out a laugh. "You love making him squirm."
She shrugs. "Duh."
I shake my head, amused. "You're evil."
She grins. "Mr. Kim Seokjin, as much as he is my friend and as much as I adore Kim Namjoon-he hurt you. My best friend. And badly at that. I think it's only fair I torture him just a little."
I snicker at that since I know she's just trying to look out for me but I still can't help but defend him.
"You know that it's not his fault for us breaking up."
She raises an eyebrow at me and dramatically comments "I have a lot of things to say about that, but I'm choosing to keep my mouth shut. I choose my battles well."
I exhale, shaking my head. "He's probably been racking his brain for days, wondering if he should reach out to Yoongi and Y/N, making sure they're okay."
"Oh, absolutely," Dara says. "He looked so concerned and worried when I told him. I bet he hasn't stopped thinking about it."
I chuckle, shaking my head.
Dara lifts her glass, raising an eyebrow. "I'm just saying, if he wants to know about you or talk about you which he always does by the way-he can just ask."
I snort.
Because she's right.
She continues, pure amusement laced in every word "Still, he's like a puppy waiting for treats he isn't getting. He's like that with Y/N and Suga too. Even about Taehyung who I haven't even met yet!"
She says the end with a glare directed at me as I snicker.
She doesn't stop there, she's ranting now.
"You can't even believe how many times he's asked me about them and how shocked he was when I told him you hadn't met them. Like seriously, it's his fault for avoiding them in the first place. What's the point in avoiding them if he's that curious, if he's that concerned, if he's that intrigued."
She drinks from her water goblet before she continues, still not finished.
"He's making a total waste of his deep dimples and God given broad chest. He's one of the smartest man to ever exist but he's damn stupid. He broke up with you. And now he's avoiding my angels and Suga. What an Idiot."
I smirk at her, thoroughly amused how much she's roasting him.
"I'm not entirely sure if you're insulting him or complimenting him right now."
"And well, I did tell him I was going to activate my profile when we last spoke so he probably thought I'd meet them there" I hum as I ate the last piece of my steak.
She nods slowly until she gasps "YOU HYPOCRITE! You only said that to torture him too!"
I couldn't help but laugh, her face displaying pure betrayal.
