Yeontan tilts his head.

Then-

He hops up on the couch instead, curling up exactly where Wacha can still see him.

Taehyung squeals. "He just wants to be close to her!"

I sigh, shaking my head fondly. "Honestly? It's kind of adorable."

Yoongi hums. "Still think she's planning his demise, though."

Taehyung huffs.

But that night, we catch Wacha curled up on one end of the couch-

And Yeontan on the other.

Closer than before.

With each passing day, Taehyung starts looking more like himself.

His bruises are fading, his cuts are healing, and his energy is returning.

The first time he finally has his full skincare routine back in place, he literally sighs in relief.

"Look at that glow," he says, admiring himself in the mirror. "I'm back, baby."

Yoongi smirks, leaning against the bathroom doorway. "Missed the old you?"

Taehyung pouts, patting his cheeks. "I missed hydration."

I giggle, pressing a kiss to his cheek. "Well, hydration missed you too."

His smile is soft as he looks between us.

And for the first time in days-

There's no hesitation in his eyes.

A week later, something shocking happens.

Yoongi catches Wacha letting Yeontan nap beside her.

Not near her.

Not in the same room.

But right next to her.

"Holy shit," Yoongi breathes, standing in the hallway, frozen in place.

I peek over his shoulder-

And immediately gasp.

"Oh my God."

Taehyung rushes over. "What? What's happening-"

Then he sees it.

Yeontan.

Sleeping peacefully, curled up against Wacha's side.

And Wacha?

She doesn't look mad about it.

"She... she accepted him," Taehyung whispers, eyes shining.

Yoongi shakes his head in disbelief. "She's been compromised."
