He smirks. "You so do."
"I hate her."
"You hate how much you don't hate her."
I glare. "Shut up."
Dara raises a brow, amused. "You two done?"
Yoongi hums. "Not even close."
I down the rest of my drink.
The night stretches on, filled with laughter, chaos, and far too many drinks.
For a few hours, it's easy to forget the weight we've been carrying.
For a few hours, things feel light.
By the time we step outside into the cool night air, I'm... definitely not sober.
"Yoongi," I mumble, blinking up at him as I sway slightly. "I think the ground is... moving?"
He chuckles, wrapping an arm around my waist to steady me. "That's just you being very drunk, baby."
I squint. "No, I think it's a conspiracy."
Dara snorts beside us. "Okay, lightweight, let's get you home."
She helps Yoongi guide me toward the curb as the others call out their goodbyes, still laughing from inside the bar.
"Tell Wacha I love her," Jae shouts.
"Tell Wacha I love her more," Si Woo adds.
I lift a very serious finger. "Wacha loves only me."
Dara hums. "She might love Suga a little bit."
I gasp dramatically. "*Betrayal.*"
Yoongi shakes his head, thoroughly entertained. "Come on, baby. Cab's here."
With Dara's help, he gets me into the backseat, buckling me in as I blink sleepily at both of them.
Dara crosses her arms, watching me with something almost affectionate. "Make sure she drinks water when you get home."
Yoongi smirks. "Oh, don't worry. I'll be dealing with her hangover, not you."
Dara chuckles, then meets his gaze. "Take care of her."
Yoongi studies her for a moment, something unreadable in his expression. Then he nods. "I always do."
As the cab pulls away, I turn to Yoongi, head resting against his shoulder.
"She's... annoyingly nice," I mumble.
He hums. "I think she might be good for you."
I pout. "You're not supposed to say that."
He chuckles, pressing a kiss to my forehead. "Calm down, baby. Just admit you like her."
I groan, closing my eyes. "Never."
He squeezes my hand, amusement still dancing in his voice.
But even as my body relaxes against him, even as the alcohol fogs my mind
I know.
We haven't forgotten.
We're just surviving.
Together.

"Listen, Yoongi," I slur dramatically as I stumble out of the cab, gripping his arm like my life depends on it. "I am being personally victimized by Dara Lee's perfection, and I need you to acknowledge that."
