Chapter 32: Backseat Snoring, Front Seat Ramblings

Start from the beginning

The car finally comes to a slow stop in front of my apartment building.

The night feels quiet now, the only noise being the soft hum of the engine winding down.

I look over at Yoongi hyung, who has one hand still on the wheel, his other arm resting casually on the door.

There's a little smirk on his face, as if he knows something I don't. It's funny, the way he looks so relaxed even after a long day.

I glance at the backseat, where Y/N noona is still curled up with my giant teddy bear in her arms, her face peaceful, soft. I can't help but smile at the sight-she looks so cute and content. I nudge hyung gently.

"Hyung," I whisper. "Time to wake her up."

He nods, his eyes softening as he glances at Y/N in the rearview mirror. "You do it. I don't want to risk her attacking me for waking her up."

I laugh quietly. "She wouldn't do that... probably."

With a grin, I lean over and gently tap her shoulder. "Noona," I whisper. "We're here."

Noona lets out a soft groan, her eyes fluttering open slowly, and she blinks a few times, as if she's unsure where she is for a second.

Then, her gaze falls to my teddy bear, still clutched tightly in her arms, and her face softens with a sleepy, content smile.

"Hmm," she murmurs, her voice all groggy and adorable. "We're here?"

"Yeah," I say, smiling down at her. "We're at my place."

She yawns and stretches, looking up at hyung with a sleepy, but knowing look.

A silent conversation passes between them-one of those moments where words aren't needed, but everything is understood.

And then, she turns to me, still holding the bear like it's her new favorite possession.

"So..." she starts, voice still thick with sleep, "can we see your apartment? now seems like a good time."

I practically bounce in my seat. "Yes! I can't wait for you to see it. You're going to love Yeontan!"

Yoongi hyung raises an eyebrow, looking at me in the rearview mirror. "Yeontan? Oh the small dog you showed us right?"

"Yep!" I say excitedly. "He's my little pomeranian, and he's so cute and fluffy! He's gonna love you both!"

"Let's go, then," Yoongi says, opening the car door with a grin. "But, just so you know, if the bear doesn't fit through the door, I'm not carrying it upstairs."

I laugh, already opening my door and jumping out of the car. "Don't worry, I've got it. It's my bear, I'll deal with it."

We make our way to the apartment building, and I can already feel my excitement bubbling up again.

I've been living here for a while now, but it never gets old to show people around. I like how personal it is, how it feels like me-artistic, stylish, but cozy, just the way I want it.

We get to the door, and I hold the door open for them, struggling slightly with my huge teddy bear at hand but getting it up the steps.

"Okay, this is ridiculous," I huff, trying to maneuver the giant bear through the door.

"Do you need help?" Yoongi asks, his voice laced with amusement as he stands there watching.

"Absolutely not," I reply, grinning. "This is a sacred bear. I've got it."

Eventually, after much tugging and laughing from all three of us, I manage to get the bear through the door and into the apartment.

The first thing I do is set the bear down on the couch, and I turn to show them the place.
