Chapter 32: Backseat Snoring, Front Seat Ramblings

Start from the beginning

Yoongi hyung glances over at me with a raised eyebrow. "A road trip?"

"Yeah! Just us, driving to nowhere. Maybe somewhere random. We stop at all the weird roadside attractions. You know, like the world's biggest rubber band ball, or that haunted diner where the ghost serves you pancakes." I practically bounce in my seat just thinking about it.

Yoongi snorts, half-laughing, half-exasperated. "You really think you can convince me to go on some ridiculous trip like that?"

I lean forward, practically vibrating with excitement. "Of course! Think about it, hyung. Us, driving with the wind in our hair. We could even document it-make it a vlog."

He looks at me like I just suggested we build a spaceship out of popsicle sticks. "A vlog?"

"Hey I'm a VR content creator, it's in my blood. But okay maybe not a vlog, but you get it. It'd be fun! What's life without a little randomness?"

"I'm not sure about the whole ghost-serving-pancakes idea, but I'm open to it," he says with a smirk, though I can tell he's warming up to the thought. "As long as I don't have to navigate or plan anything. You're the road trip captain."

I fist pump in triumph. "Deal! You can just enjoy the view, and I'll take care of the rest."

Just then, a soft snore drifts from the backseat.

Noona is out cold, holding my bear like it's her personal bodyguard. I can't help but chuckle, glancing over at her.

I nudge Yoongi hyung, still chuckling. "You think she's gonna try to take it home with her? Like, somehow convince us to leave it at her place?"

Yoongi glances in the rearview mirror, eyes softening as he looks at Y/N. "I wouldn't put it past her. But you're not giving that bear away, are you?"

I turn to him, wide-eyed in mock disbelief. "Of course not! That bear is sacred. You know it's a reminder of our first date."

Yoongi hyung smiles fondly at the road ahead, nodding slowly. "I know. It's the one thing I'll never let you forget."

I laugh, feeling a warmth spread through my chest. "No matter how much I love her, I can't imagine losing it."

"I know," Yoongi agrees, his tone soft and affectionate. "But maybe... you can share it with her. You know, just sometimes."

I groan dramatically. "Fine, fine. But I'm never giving it up. I'll let her cuddle it every now and then, but she's got to understand that it's still mine."

Yoongi chuckles, shaking his head. "I'm sure she understands. You've always been attached to it. It's... it's part of you."

"Hmm it's a part of us, all three of us" I correct, giving him a playful nudge. "And when we're all together, it's like it's ours."

The conversation shifts again, a moment of quiet understanding between us. I can feel it in the air-how everything is falling into place.

Our bond is steady, strong, and it's easy.

"I'll share the bear," I say, finally. "But only if we go on that road trip. Deal?"

Yoongi smirks. "Deal. But I'm choosing the snacks."

I laugh, shaking my head. "You're on. But when we stop at the world's largest rubber band ball, I'm taking a picture with it."

"You better," Yoongi mutters, but there's laughter in his voice.

The miles roll by, the night stretching out before us, but as long as we're together-Hyung, noona, and me-we'll be ready for whatever comes next.
