Chapter 29: Animal Antics and Affection

Y/N raises an eyebrow. "Deal."

We drive deeper into the safari park, and soon enough, animals start coming up to the car.

We start feeding the deers first, and I can't help but let out a loud laugh when one of them leans in through the window to snatch the carrot I'm holding.

"Look at that!" I say, grinning. "It's like they know I'm a giant teddy bear too."

Y/N noona giggles, her eyes wide with awe as she snaps a few pictures. "They're so cute! It's incredible!" She passes me her phone for a moment. "Quick! Take a photo of me with the deer"

I don't hesitate. I lift the phone to my face, clicking a shot just as the deer gets close to her, its neck reaching up, eyes soft and gentle.

"You look so good with them," I tease, nudging her playfully.

She laughs, taking her phone back. "You're not getting away that easy, Tae. You're going to get a photo with that deer too, and it's going to be the best one."

I give her a flirtatious smile. "Oh, I'm all in. But only if you join me."

Hyung glances over his shoulder, his eyes soft and amused as he watches us interact. "Stop distracting each other," he says with a small laugh. "Let's just enjoy the animals."

We drive through a few more enclosures, taking turns feeding the animals through the window.

Some elephants come up to the car, their trunks reaching inside for the carrots.

Noona is absolutely in her element, snapping pictures of every single one with determination and a smile that makes my heart skip a beat.

Yoongi hyung occasionally joins in, offering the carrots, and every so often, noona and I will feed them too.

He might act tough sometimes, but I can see the small moments where he lets his guard down-like when he accepts the carrot from me to feed to the animals, his eyes softening as he chuckles at how the animals are interacting with us.

As we stop to feed the zebras, I lean forward, my face hovering near the side of Yoongi hyung's seat. "Hyung, how are we doing on the photo competition? I'm pretty sure I've won this one, right?"

Yoongi glances back at me, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "I wouldn't count your chickens just yet, Tae," he says, a teasing edge to his voice. "I'm still going through the pictures in my head."

Noona sticks her tongue out at me. "Told you, Tae. You're going down."

We laugh, and it feels so right-this perfect little bubble of happiness.

Suddenly, I feel a gentle hand on my arm, and I look up to see Y/N noona smiling at me. "You doing okay back there, Tae? You look a little squished between the bear and the seat."
