"I really don't know how to feel about all of this," I admitted quietly, my voice muffled by his shirt. "Namjoon included."
Yoongi's fingers gently traced circles on my back, his body warm against mine. "I get that. It's like he's got this intuition about everything, but right now, we just... need to get this project out there."
I nodded, feeling frustrated all over again.
"I get that he's concerned. I mean, I am too, but..." I let out a long breath. "But It's hard to hear him say we're rushing it. We've worked so damn hard, and his team agreed on the timeline for christ sake. Now, everything feels like it's hanging by a thread."
Yoongi's voice softened, as though he were thinking through the frustration himself. "I know. And the worst part is, it's Namjoon. He's a huge part of what we're trying to build, but... it sucks getting frustrated with him, especially when we don't even know for sure if he's our soulmate."
I looked up at him, my gaze locking with his. The frustration of the day had softened into something more... vulnerable. "Exactly. I hate feeling this way toward him, especially with everything that's going on. We haven't even figured out if he's part of all this-part of us."
Yoongi's fingers lightly brushed against my cheek, a gentle caress that settled the fluttering thoughts in my mind. "It's complicated. But right now, we need to stay focused. Namjoon may potentially be our soulmate, but he is first and foremost a work ally. So we just need to be professional about it and deal with this as best as we can."
His words brought a sense of stability, even in the midst of the unknown.
I snuggled closer to him, taking comfort in his presence. "I just want to get this right. I don't want to let him-or anyone-down. But it's hard when everything feels so out of control."
Yoongi sighed, his arms tightening around me. "We'll figure it out. We always do."
I smiled up at him, grateful for his calm reassurance, even when I didn't feel calm at all.
Just as I opened my mouth to respond, my phone buzzed on the coffee table.
I reached for it, seeing that it was Taehyung calling.
"Speaking of people who help us feel grounded," I said, a small laugh escaping me as I answered the call.
"Hey, Tae!" I greeted, smiling at the sight of him on my screen. He appeared on the video call with a bright grin, and the sight of his face immediately lifted the weight on my chest.

"Noona!" Taehyung's voice was as cheerful as ever, and I could already feel my stress melting away.
"What's up? You two surviving over there?" He tilted his head playfully, his messy hair falling in soft waves.
He looked incredibly good, like always, and it almost made me forget about everything else for a moment.
I couldn't help but smile wider. "We're managing," I said with a shrug, looking over at Yoongi who was now watching us both, his eyes soft. "It's been a crazy day, but you know how it is. What about you? How was your day?"
