The advocacy updates-keeping our users informed about ongoing bills, racial justice movements, and other social equity concerns-had to be done right.
We couldn't afford any mistakes.

I sat at the head of the boardroom table, my laptop open in front of me, the familiar hum of pressure surrounding me.
We were about to deploy the new feature in just two weeks, and with every passing day, the weight on my shoulders grew heavier.
I glanced around the table at my team.
Everyone was focused, their minds clearly absorbed in their tasks.
Si Woo was typing away at his laptop, Jae had his tablet in hand, Ha Eun was nervously tapping her pen, and Yoongi... my ever-stoic Yoongi, sat next to me, his steady presence providing some much-needed comfort.
Taking a deep breath, I cleared my throat and tried to keep my voice steady, despite how frazzled I felt. "We've got just under two weeks. Let's make sure we're all aligned with the final revisions. Si Woo, how's the development looking on your end?"
Si Woo paused from his work, his eyes meeting mine as he answered. "Almost done with the back-end updates. Just a few tweaks left with integrating the data feeds. Should be good to go soon."
A sense of relief washed over me at his words. "Great. Just make sure everything's wrapped up by the end of the week."
I turned my attention to Jae, who was working diligently on his tablet, completely absorbed in what he was doing. "I'm tweaking the design elements right now. The updates will look seamless, don't worry! Just need a final review from you, Y/N."
I nodded, feeling a small smile tug at my lips. "I'll take a look once you've made the final adjustments. I trust you'll get it right."
My eyes drifted to Ha Eun next, who was tapping her pen on the table, clearly deep in thought about her next move. "Marketing's prepping the launch campaign. We'll need all the details for the new updates to get started on pushing them to the community."
The pressure of the approaching deadline weighed heavily on me, and I shifted in my seat. "I'm on it. I'll send everything over once we finalize the revisions. We can't afford any delays with the campaign. We're on a tight timeline."
Finally, I turned my attention to Yoongi. He was sitting next to me, his calm demeanor a stark contrast to the buzzing anxiety inside me.
He didn't need to say much to make me feel grounded. His presence alone was enough. I caught his eye, and he gave me a small, reassuring nod before speaking.
"Security's in good shape," he said, his voice calm and steady. "I'll finish up with testing, but the app's secure for now."
A wave of relief washed over me at his words. Yoongi's work on security had always been my safety net, and knowing that was in place helped ease some of my tension.
"Perfect," I said softly, a small smile crossing my face. "Thanks, Yoongi. That's a relief."
His gaze lingered on me for a moment, his eyes warm and steady.
I couldn't help but feel a flutter in my chest at the unspoken connection between us. It was something no one else could see, but it was there, and it made everything feel a little easier.
With the meeting wrapping up, I closed my laptop with a soft click. "Alright, team. Let's keep the momentum going. I'll follow up with each of you for the final reviews. We're almost there."
