Jiwon widened his eyes, shock evident in his eyes

"Go on" he encourages, his eyes lighting up with interest. "Yeah, so... I have multiple soulmates."

Jiwon nods in understanding as he stretches his triceps "wow okay, how do you feel about that?"

"Honestly I thought I'd be shitting my pants but it's actually been great so far" I smiled as I thought about my soulmates

"They're names are Yoongi and Y/N." I tell him proudly as I added more weights

Jiwon raised his eyebrows. A smile tugging the corner of his lips "You seem happy man, you met them already?"

I smiled, my heart doing that fluttery thing again as I thought about them. "It's been... crazy, but in the best way. We had an amazing day together-the amusement park, the bubble tea café-it was so fun. And we've been talking through the app every single day. Honestly, I feel like I clicked with them in a way I didn't expect. I'm still figuring it all out, but I just want to get to know them more, you know? Deepen the connection. But I'm not really sure if that's gonna happen"

Jiwon chuckled, his grin widening. "I'm glad to hear it, man. Sounds like you've got something special going on. Tae you're charming, always so full of energy, and for God's sake you do know you're incredibly handsome right, even minji thinks so, if you weren't my bestfriend I'd kick your ass, so be more confident about yourself"

I chuckle at the though and pats him in the back "I'm still not match for you if it's Minji, that girl is undeniably heads over heels for you" I snickered.

And besides "she said that when we were in high school, and honestly she didn't have much options there, no offense" I playfully tease him

He swats my hands as I laugh out loud as he definitely took offense.

"First, I know that, I'm confident about my soulmate. Second, You can be such an asshole you know. Third, the entire female population of our high school was in love with you. Dude you were even voted prom king at Dukwon Highschool."

"so what, being voted prom king one time doesn't really mean much" I murmur as I lifted some weights

"WE WENT TO GANGBUK HIGH!!" he yelled, clearly catching me off guard.

I laughed at him for trying his best to be so supportive "yeah I know, thanks man. Sorry I'm happy but my mind is in a muddle lately. Can't stop thinking about them, and I miss them, I haven't seen them in days"

He paused, clearly thinking something over. "it's good to hear you're into them, Tae. They sound cool. Maybe try to visit them, I'm sure they'd wanna see you too "

I couldn't help but feel a wave of gratitude toward my best friend. "I think so too. I mean, they're both incredible people. Yoongi... he's so different from what I expected. He's got this quiet confidence, but when he speaks, it's like everything feels more grounded. I don't know, man. He's got this way of making me feel... special? His little gestures, his voice, just the way he looks at me sometimes... It really gets to me." I paused, my face flushing slightly as I realized how deep my feelings for Yoongi were becoming.

"I didn't think I'd feel this way about a guy, but with him, it's something else. And Y/N... Y/N's amazing too. I mean, she's beautiful, but beyond that, she makes me feel like I can be myself completely. She listens, she's so easy to talk to, and I just want to be around her more."

"but I just don't want to overwhelm them, so I'm just trying to pace myself. I invited them into another date, I just don't know when that'll be but it's a start"

Jiwon smiled, a proud look on his face. "Damn, Tae. I'm happy for you, really. It's good to see you like this. And you deserve it, man. You and Y/N, you and Yoongi-you're lucky to have met them. And good for you for taking a step"
