There was a noticeable softness in his eyes, a kind of awe that didn't go unnoticed.
The shy way Taehyung kept looking at Yoongi, the way his voice softened whenever he spoke to him, was becoming more and more obvious, like a magnetic pull between them that neither could quite hide.
It was endearing to watch, and I found myself feeling oddly protective over Taehyung.
Yoongi, always the perceptive one, caught Taehyung's lingering looks, his lips curving into that signature smirk of his. "You good there, Tae?" he asked, teasing but with a warmth that only Yoongi could convey.
Taehyung stiffened, caught off guard, before laughing nervously. "Yeah, just thinking," he said, quickly turning his attention to the Ferris wheel.
But I could see it in his eyes-the way he was clearly flustered by Yoongi's attention, a mix of admiration and something more that he wasn't quite ready to admit yet.
"You guys are cute, you know that?" I remarked with a teasing grin, nudging Taehyung gently.
His gaze snapped to mine, eyes wide before he quickly turned away, his cheeks flushing a deep shade of pink.
"W-what? No, we're not," Taehyung stammered, but the nervous energy radiating off of him gave him away.
I couldn't help but laugh, enjoying the way he squirmed under the attention. "It's okay, Tae. We can see it."
I gave him a reassuring smile, though part of me couldn't help but feel a little warmth for the way he was trying so hard to hide it.
I glanced over at Yoongi, who was watching Taehyung with an unreadable expression.
It was subtle, but I could see it-the softening of his gaze whenever Taehyung looked his way, the quiet affection that he tried to mask under his usual cool demeanor.
But his touch, small and gentle, spoke volumes when he placed a hand on Taehyung's shoulder, offering a small reassurance that Taehyung desperately seemed to need.
The ride was starting to fill up, but Taehyung was still fidgeting next to Yoongi, clearly restless in a way that made it impossible to ignore how much he cared about him.
I couldn't help but wonder what was going on inside his head, but before I could say anything, Taehyung suddenly turned to me.
"You look nice tonight, Y/N," he said, his voice a little quieter than usual, though still full of that same infectious charm.
His words were casual, but there was an intensity in his eyes that made my heart flutter unexpectedly.
I smiled, feeling the heat rise in my cheeks at the compliment. "Thank you, Taehyung. You look great too. Like, ridiculously handsome." I meant it, my gaze meeting his and holding it for a moment longer than usual.
There was something about the way he looked at me-so openly, so unguarded-that made it impossible not to feel a pull toward him.
Taehyung's eyes lit up at my words, and for a brief moment, I saw a vulnerability in him-something deeper than his usual playful antics.
"You're really sweet, Y/N," he said, his voice soft and sincere. "I'm really glad we're doing this. I've been looking forward to it for a long time."
My heart skipped a beat. I wasn't sure exactly what he meant, but I knew it wasn't just about the amusement park.
There was something more between us, something that had been growing since we met. I felt the same way, and though I couldn't put it into words, the connection between us felt undeniable.
