The moment we sat down, Taehyung immediately placed the bear on his lap, giving it a protective little pat. "You're safe now," he murmured to it as if reassuring an actual person.

His fingers gently stroked the bear's ear while his other hand gripped the edge of the seat.

Yoongi, who had settled beside me, glanced over at Taehyung, an affectionate smile tugging at his lips. I followed his gaze, watching Taehyung's careful attention to the bear.

"You think he's serious about that bear?" I whispered to Yoongi, half-teasing but half-curious.
