Chapter 20: Tease, Tension, and Tenderness

Start from the beginning

It was clear that there was an attraction between the two of them that ran deeper than just friendly banter.

I wasn't sure exactly what was developing, but I could feel it in the way they looked at each other, in the quiet moments when their gazes lingered a little too long.

We stopped at a small food stand to grab some snacks.

As I was paying, Taehyung leaned over to Yoongi, his voice low and teasing

As I was paying, Taehyung leaned over to Yoongi, his voice low and teasing. "So, Yoongi, what's it like being so effortlessly cool? Does it get tiring?"

Yoongi's eyes flickered with amusement as he took a bite of his pretzel. "You wouldn't understand."

Taehyung grinned, clearly not taking him seriously. "I think I understand perfectly. I just need to make sure I'm not stepping on your toes."

Yoongi raised an eyebrow at him. "You'll have to try harder than that, Taehyung."

I watched them with a small smile, feeling the energy between the two of them.

There was a lot of teasing, but underneath it, I could sense something more genuine.

Yoongi's protective side was undeniable, but so was Taehyung's admiration for him.

It wasn't just about flirtation-it was about an undeniable connection that was quietly building between them.

As we sat down to enjoy our snacks, Taehyung turned to me, his gaze softening as he leaned closer. "Y/N, I'm really glad we met. You're just... so easy to talk to. It's like I've known you forever."

I felt my heart flutter at his words, and I couldn't help but smile. "I'm glad we met, too. It's been... really fun."

Taehyung's eyes lingered on me for a moment longer, and there was something in his gaze-something deep, almost vulnerable.

He opened his mouth to say something, but before he could, Yoongi interrupted, his voice low and teasing. "Taehyung, don't make Y/N blush too much. We're in public."

Taehyung chuckled softly, glancing at Yoongi. "Sorry, Yoongi. I just can't help it when she looks at me like that."

I could feel my cheeks heat up at the attention, and Yoongi, always the observer, caught the moment.

His eyes softened as he glanced at me, a subtle smile playing on his lips. "Don't worry, Y/N. He means well."

I smiled at Yoongi, grateful for his reassurance, and leaned in slightly, my fingers brushing against his as I reached for my drink.

The quiet, natural intimacy between us was always there-small touches, soft smiles, shared glances.

It felt right, in a way that nothing else ever had.

The three of us spent the next few hours bouncing between rides, games, and food stands, the laughter never quite stopping.
