"Amusement park, huh?" Yoongi asked, the playful edge to his voice returning.
Taehyung nodded eagerly. "You two better be ready to have your minds blown. I'm going to show you all the best rides."
We all laughed as we walked toward the car, the energy between us crackling, full of promise and possibility.
____________
The light afternoon air hit us when we stepped out of the bubble tea shop as we walked toward Yoongi's car.
Taehyung was practically bouncing with excitement beside me, his energy infectious.
I couldn't help but smile, a soft laugh escaping me at the way he practically skipped toward the car.
"You sure you're not too hyped up on bubble tea?" I teased, watching him grin like a kid on Christmas morning.
"No way," Taehyung replied, his tone playful. "I'm just that excited to hang out with you two. I mean, you're finally here, and we're about to go to the amusement park! I can't even! I've been waiting for this day for so long."
I chuckled at his enthusiasm, turning to Yoongi as he opened the passenger door for me.
He glanced over his shoulder and gave Taehyung an amused smirk. "I think he's going to wear us out before we even get there," Yoongi said, a soft, teasing note in his voice.
I looked up at Yoongi and, despite the lighthearted teasing, felt that familiar warmth in my chest. It was always like this with him-easy, natural.
But tonight felt different. There was a new element to our dynamic with Taehyung, a little spark of something between the three of us that was so effortless yet electrifying.
The car ride was filled with a comfortable hum, the sound of the tires rolling against the road blending with the light chatter in the air.
Every few moments, Taehyung would let out an excited noise or tap his hands against the seat, like he couldn't contain the anticipation.
Yoongi, driving in the front, glanced at him through the rearview mirror with a small smile, clearly entertained by Taehyung's infectious enthusiasm.
"You're practically bouncing out of your seat," Yoongi remarked, his voice dry but laced with affection. "Are you sure that excited about the amusement park?"
Taehyung grinned mischievously, his eyes dancing with playful energy. "I can't help it. I'm just excited to spend time with you guys."
His gaze lingered on me for a moment, a teasing smile tugging at his lips. "Especially you, Y/N."
I could feel my cheeks heat up at the way his eyes softened when they met mine.
It was impossible to ignore the flirtation that hung in the air whenever Taehyung looked at me, and yet, there was something about his energy that felt light and easy.
His attention was undeniably flattering, and it made my heart skip every time he singled me out.
Yoongi, ever observant, noticed the way Taehyung's gaze lingered.
He let out a soft chuckle, his fingers lightly tapping against the steering wheel. "Keep it up, Taehyung," he teased. "You'll get Y/N all flustered."
I smiled, half-amused, half-nervous. "You're not helping, Yoongi."
Yoongi's lips quirked up into a sly smirk. "I'm just stating the truth." His gaze flicked back to the road, but the playful glint in his eyes lingered.
The atmosphere in the car was warm, comfortable.
There was a certain ease between the three of us now, a familiarity that made it feel as though we'd all known each other for much longer than we really had.
