Chapter 20: Tease, Tension, and Tenderness

At one point, as we sat on a bench by the Ferris wheel, Taehyung leaned toward me, his smile softening as he spoke.

"Y/N, I hope you know you're making this day unforgettable for me. I'm really glad we met."

I felt my heart flutter at his words, and I couldn't help but smile back at him. "I'm glad we met, too, Taehyung. You're... different. In a good way."

He grinned, leaning in just a little closer, his eyes never leaving mine. "I hope I'm making a good impression, then."

Before I could respond, Yoongi, ever the observer, glanced over at us with a subtle smirk. "Are you two done flirting yet?" he teased, but there was no real bite to it-only a soft amusement in his voice.

Taehyung shot Yoongi an exaggerated, playful glare. "Don't ruin the moment, Yoongi," he said with a wink.

Yoongi's gaze softened as he looked at the two of us, and for a moment, I caught the briefest glimpse of something that felt almost like a promise in his eyes.

He wasn't just watching-he was quietly enjoying this, too.

At one point, after a particularly wild ride, we found ourselves in line for a game booth.

Taehyung was practically vibrating with energy, scanning the prizes with gleaming eyes. His competitive streak was in full force as he leaned toward Yoongi, whispering conspiratorially.

"You have to win that giant stuffed bear for me. It's THE prize to win," he said with a wink, his voice low but laced with excitement.

Yoongi raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything. Instead, he stepped forward, throwing a few coins into the booth and taking aim at the targets with a calm, practiced focus.

Taehyung watched him intently, clearly impressed by Yoongi's steady hand and determination.

"You're amazing at this," Taehyung said, his voice sincere. There was no teasing in his tone this time, only admiration.

Yoongi didn't respond immediately, but when he hit the final target, the bell rang, signaling his success.

He turned to Taehyung with a small, almost imperceptible smile. "I don't do things halfway," he said simply, handing the giant stuffed bear to Taehyung with a teasing glint in his eyes. "But don't get too used to this. You're on your own next time."

Taehyung took the bear with a wide grin, clutching it to his chest like it was the greatest treasure.

"I think I'm going to take this with me everywhere," he said, eyes sparkling.
