Chapter 19: An Exciting New Bond

Yoongi read the message, his smile softening. He took a moment before responding, glancing at me, his expression a little softer than usual.

He showed me the message with a subtle smile.

"Look at you, getting along so well already. I knew it would happen."

Yoongi looked at me with a fondness that made my heart flutter. "Yeah. It's... comfortable with him."

"Yeah, it's like you two were meant to get along."

Yoongi's thumb hovered over the screen, his eyes narrowing as he read the next message from Taehyung.

Taehyung (Private to Suga):
Yoongi, I hope I'm not rushing it. But I feel like we're really vibing. I can already see us being close. I promise I'll be respectful, just... wanted to check in. 😅

Yoongi's eyes softened as he read the message, a warmth spreading through him.

As he was about to reply, he receives a notification

Taehyung has changed Suga's name to Yoongi

He took a breath, and chuckles, knowing exactly what to reply.

Yoongi (Private to Taehyung):
It's good, Taehyung. I'm not weirded out, I promise. I'm actually glad you're comfortable with me. I think we'll get along just fine.

Taehyung (Private to Yoongi):
YESSS! I'm so happy to hear that! 😆 This weekend is gonna be amazing. I can't wait to finally meet you both!

Yoongi looked at me again, his expression warm, the kind of smile that made his eyes crinkle at the corners. "He really is excited, huh?"

I smiled back at him. "He's genuine. It's hard not to get excited with him around."

Yoongi chuckled softly. "I can see that. There's something special about him, something that makes everything feel... easy."

He sent one last message to Taehyung, his tone a little more relaxed now.

Yoongi (Private to Taehyung):
Don't worry about it. We're good. I'm looking forward to this weekend, too. I think it's going to be a lot of fun.

Taehyung (Private to Yoongi):
You're making me so happy! I'm seriously so lucky to have met you both. This weekend is going to be unforgettable. 😎

Yoongi leaned back in his seat, his hand brushing mine gently. "I like this. It feels right, like we've been waiting for him to come into our lives."

I squeezed his hand, my heart swelling with affection. "Me too. I think this weekend is going to be a turning point. We're all going to bond, like we were always meant to."

We both sat in silence for a moment, the weight of the messages and the anticipation of the weekend settling in.

It was rare for Yoongi to open up this easily to someone, but there was something about Taehyung that had made him feel comfortable from the very start.

It was the same way I felt-like this was meant to happen.

Yoongi's voice broke the silence, low and warm. "It feels like fate, doesn't it?"

I nodded, a smile tugging at my lips. "Yeah, like we were always meant to find him."

Yoongi's gaze softened as he looked at me. "And now that we've found him, everything feels even more... complete."

I couldn't help but agree.
