Chapter 18: A Weekend We'll Never Forget

Start from the beginning

It was peaceful, the kind of quiet that filled the space between two people who had found something real.

And as I looked at Yoongi, really looked at him, I knew we were on the brink of something more.

His hand brushed against mine again, slow and deliberate, and I couldn't help but lean closer, drawn to him like I always had been.

My heart raced in a way I couldn't quite explain, the anticipation building with each breath we took.

He didn't look at me at first but I could feel his presence, every inch of him pulling me closer.

His gaze deep with intent shifted at me, his breath brushed against my skin, and I could feel the heat between us building.

"I want to kiss you," he murmured, his voice low, steady.

For a moment, neither of us moved. We were frozen, caught in a moment where time seemed to stretch infinitely.

The room was silent, the air thick with everything that had just been said, everything that had built up between us.

We'd share moments before -heated glances and soft, lingering kisses but never on the lips.

This feels like a culmination of everything we've felt this past few weeks, the intensity that has been built through all the tugging and teasing.

The distance between us felt unbearable, and neither of us was willing to let it linger any longer.

I shifted closer to him, the anticipation thick in the air, every breath I took in sync with his.

Yoongi leaned in just enough that our faces were inches apart.

When our eyes met there was no need for words. We both knew what we were feeling - the desire, the need to be closer that we'd ever been before.

"Yoongi" I whispered, and the way his name slipped from my lips sounded way too intimate. Like I had been saying it in my mind for so much longer than I had realized.

His hand gently cupped my cheek, his thumb brushing across my skin, and I could feel the heat of his touch seeping into my bones.

It made me shiver, a subtle way of excitement running through me.

"You're all I can think about" he said, his voice low, almost rough

"I can't stop wanting you."

I swallowed hard, my heart pounding in my chest. "Then... do it."

As soon as I released the words, his lips descended on mine, hungry-desparate.

It wasn't slow-it was urgent, as if we've both been waiting for this exact moment and now that it was here, we couldn't wait another second.

I kissed him back with the same intensity my fingers threading through his hair, pulling him closer, if that was even possible.

The kiss deepened and I felt a rush of warmth spread through me, my heart pounding in my chest.

I could taste the design and built up frustration on his lips, feel it in the way his body pressed against mine, as if he couldn't get close enough.

He pulled away for a brief moment breathing heavily, his forehead resting against mine. "I love you."

"I am hopelessly and undeniably in love with you, Y/N" he admitted, his voice husky.

The admission made my chest tighten, my own feelings of bliss mirroring his.

"I love you too, yoongi" I murmured back. My hand resting on his chest, feeling the steady beat of his heart beneath my fingertips.

"I've been desperately, uncontrollably been in love with you too, Min Yoongi."
