Chapter 17: The Thrill of Being Caught

Start from the beginning

I tried to resist smiling, but it was no use. "You're impossible."

Yoongi laughed quietly and, before I knew it, he was leaning in, placing a soft kiss just below my ear, right at the curve of my jaw.

It was tender, but the warmth of his lips against my skin sent a shiver down my spine.

I froze, caught off guard by the kiss, feeling a wave of emotion rush through me.

We couldn't be doing this in the break room, in the middle of work hours, surrounded by all their colleagues!!

But the pull, the connection, was undeniable.

He pulled back and looked with a softness in his eyes. "I just can't help myself."

My heart was racing, a heat rushing through me like wildfire. "You're going to get us caught,"

"We'll be careful," he promised, his voice low and smooth.

As the days wore on, the excitement between us only grew. We couldn't stop stealing glances at each other when we passed in the hallways, sending sly smiles and subtle touches.

The thrill of the secret relationship was so much more intoxicating than I could ever imagine.

There was an unspoken understanding between us, a shared excitement, a constant game we were playing.

Yoongi had this way of leaning in just a little closer whenever someone wasn't looking, his presence so overwhelmingly magnetic that it sent heat rushing to my face.

It was like our chemistry was too strong to ignore, even with the mundane distractions of office life.

I was sitting at the huddle room, trying to focus on a report for the LoveMap app, but my thoughts kept drifting back to Yoongi.

His presence next to me, his calm aura, his smirk whenever our hands brushed. It was getting harder and harder to concentrate on anything else.

I glanced up, just in time to see him glance at me from across the small round table of the huddle room.

His gaze locked with mine, and for a moment, everything around us faded.

He was so subtle about it, but the look in his eyes told me he was thinking the same thing I was-how close we were to being discovered.

But it didn't matter.

What mattered was this connection between us, this intensity that was growing by the day.

He took a step closer to my chair, and I fought to keep my composure, knowing full well that if anyone saw us now, they'd catch on to something.

It wasn't that we were doing anything inappropriate-just a few quiet glances, a smile, a few small kisses, light touch here and there-but in an office like this, it felt like the world could collapse if anyone caught us.
