I blushed slightly, feeling the weight of his words. "I'm happy to be here, Yoongi. Really."

He smiled softly, stepping just a little closer, his presence warm and comforting. Without a word, he kissed my nose, then my cheeks, and gently pressed his lips to my forehead, each kiss like a quiet promise.

The tenderness in his touch, the warmth in the way he held me in that moment, said more than words ever could-it was pure, intimate, and filled with affection.

I felt my heart race a little at the closeness, at the way he was looking at me, like I was the most important thing in the world.

I squeezed his hand in return, feeling the connection between us deepen.

He leaned in slightly, his thumb brushing over my hand in a slow, deliberate motion.
"This birthday... it's been perfect. I couldn't have asked for anything better."

I smiled, my heart full. "Neither could I."
As the evening drew to a close, Yoongi and I lingered in that quiet moment together, savoring the connection we'd built so far.

The room felt quieter now, and the only sounds were the soft hum of the refrigerator and the occasional rustle of the wrapping paper I still held in my hands.

I had been waiting for this moment all day-waiting to finally give him his gift, the one I'd spent so much time picking out.

And now, with everything else out of the way, I couldn't hold off any longer.

I reached over, setting the wrapped box carefully on the counter in front of him.

His eyes immediately darted to it, curiosity piqued.

"What's this?" Yoongi asked, a playful glint in his eyes. "Another surprise? You're full of them today."

I smiled softly, my heart skipping a beat. "Well, it's your birthday. I wanted to get you something special.

He raised an eyebrow, obviously intrigued.

I watched as he carefully began to unwrap the box, his fingers moving with surprising gentleness, as though he didn't want to spoil the surprise too soon.

When the paper was finally peeled away, revealing the sleek, modern soundbar inside, his eyes widened, and his jaw dropped a little.

"No way... this is-" He stared at it for a moment, completely speechless.

Then, he met my gaze, his expression transforming into one of pure happiness and surprise. "Y/N, this is... this is amazing! How did you even know I wanted this?"

I chuckled softly, feeling warmth spread through me at the sight of his excitement. "Yeona might have overheard you talking about it once or twice. So she told me and I thought it'd be perfect for your setup."

Yoongi was still staring at it, clearly overwhelmed by how thoughtful the gift was.

His gaze flicked back to me, and I could see the genuine appreciation in his eyes.

"I'm honestly... I'm speechless. I love it," he said, his voice tinged with disbelief. "This is perfect. Thank you. I'm so... I don't know what to say."

I grinned at him, my heart racing slightly from the tenderness of the moment. "I'm glad you like it."

For a moment, he just stood there, holding the soundbar in his hands as though it was the most precious thing he had ever received.

His expression softened, and his gaze lingered on me, like he was still processing just how much I had thought about him.

Then, Yoongi took a step closer, his fingers brushing against mine as he set the gift aside on the counter.

The slight touch sent a pleasant shiver down my spine, and before I knew it, he was standing just inches away, his eyes now locked with mine in a way that made my pulse quicken.

"I don't think I'll ever be able to thank you enough for this," he whispered, his voice barely above a murmur. His fingers lingered on my hand, now holding it gently. "But, I think I need to try."

He gently raises my hand with his, pressing a soft kiss at the back of it. The gesture was so tender, so full of affection that it left me breathless.

When he raises his head, his gaze never wavered from mine. "You're incredible, you know that?"

My heart fluttered in my chest. "I just want to make you happy," I said, my voice soft, a little shy, but full of sincerity.

He smiled at that, a warmth spreading across his face. "You do. More than you know."

The room was quiet for a moment, but it wasn't an uncomfortable silence.

It was the kind of silence that hung between two people who understood each other without needing to say anything more.

I swallowed the lump in my throat, feeling like this moment was more than just a birthday celebration-it was a realization.

I wasn't just here because of a simple gift. I was here because of something much deeper.

Something that neither of us had quite fully acknowledged until now.

"Yoongi," I said softly, my voice carrying the weight of my emotions. "Happy birthday. I'm really lucky to have you in my life. You... you make everything so much better. You make me better."

He stared at me for a moment, his face softening even further. "Y/N..."

His voice was barely a whisper, but it was full of all the things I had been feeling. All the things he had been too, but never quite put into words.

I took a deep breath, summoning the courage to say what had been on my heart for a while now. "I'm so glad we met. I really am. I didn't know this kind of... connection existed. But with you? It just feels... right. Like we were meant to find each other."

Yoongi's hand tightened around mine, his thumb brushing over the back of my hand in that familiar, comforting way. "I feel the same," he said, his voice barely above a whisper, but so full of meaning. "I can't imagine life without you anymore."

The intensity of the moment lingered between us.

Yoongi's eyes softened even more, and for a split second, I thought he might kiss me, but instead, he just reached up to gently cup my face with one hand, his thumb tracing over my cheek in slow, tender circles.

"You know," he said, his voice dropping lower, his gaze never leaving mine. "You've already given me the best birthday present. This-" He gestured between us, "-just being here with you... that's everything I could ever want."

I smiled, warmth spreading through my chest as his words settled in.

The connection between us, the intimacy of the moment-it felt real, like something I hadn't realized I needed until it was right in front of me.

"I'm so glad to be here," I murmured, my heart full. "Thank you... for being born."

Yoongi's eyes softened even more, and he leaned forward, his lips brushing my forehead once again in a gentle kiss. "And thank you for making this day perfect. I'm so lucky to have you, Y/N."

As he pulled back, he gave me a look that made my heart flutter. I could see the affection in his eyes, the admiration, and something more-something deeper.

Something that only we understood.

In that moment, I knew, without a doubt, that Yoongi wasn't just a soulmate-I was his too.

And nothing had ever felt more right.

He smiled, giving me a playful glance. "So... does this mean I get to spend my whole birthday with you?"

I grinned, my heart racing. "I wouldn't have it any other way."

And with that, we spent the rest of the night together, laughing, teasing, holding hands, and just being there for each other.

Yoongi had never been more radiant, and neither had I.
