I had spent days researching the perfect one-something that felt like Yoongi.
Nothing too flashy, nothing too sweet. Just something comforting. And then I found it, a chocolate cake with a hint of mandarin citrus.

Rich, decadent, but with a surprising twist of tartness. The perfect balance.
As I picked up the cake from the bakery, I couldn't help but smile to myself.
This was it. The perfect day.
I was going to surprise him, make him feel special, and celebrate him in the way he deserved.
I checked the time as I slipped into a taxi.
Just a little more than an hour before I was supposed to be there. My heart pounded a little faster with each passing minute.
I was ready for him to see everything I had put together-each thoughtful little detail that would show him how much he meant to me.
When I finally arrived at his building, I stood in front of the door to his apartment with a nervous flutter in my chest.
I wanted this to be perfect.
I wanted to see his smile when he realized everything was for him.
I pulled my phone from my pocket and typed out a message, ready to tell him I was outside, but then I hesitated.
No. I wasn't going to spoil the surprise any further.
I wanted him to be surprised when I showed up at his door, not when he reads a text.
Taking a deep breath, I tucked my phone away and rang the doorbell, feeling the excitement build up in my chest.
I heard footsteps from inside, the sound growing louder, and then the door swung open.
But instead of Yoongi standing there, it was a woman-a stranger.
Her expression was neutral, but her eyes narrowed slightly when she saw me holding the cake and bag of goodies.
I blinked, the confusion in my brain short-circuiting my thoughts. "Uhm... Hi?" I said, my voice faltering slightly.
"Hello, Can I help you?"

This woman was young and beautiful.
She had doe like eyes and soft features, her skin pearl like white and smooth, her seemingly long dark hair pulled back in a loose bun.
And tied on her waist, an apron.
Yoongi's apron.
