The night carried on, the three of us wrapped up in our own little bubble of comfort and quiet.
But as the hours wore on and the weight of the day's events caught up with me, my thoughts began to shift toward something deeper, something I hadn't yet fully acknowledged.
Eventually, Yoongi broke the silence. "Do you ever think about all the attention the LoveMap app is going to get once the new features are launched? I mean... people are going to expect a lot from us."
I nodded slowly, feeling the weight of his words.
The project had grown beyond just us-it was becoming something bigger, something with expectations and scrutiny.
"Yeah, it's a lot to take in. Sometimes I wonder if we're ready for it, you know? I've always wanted to help people, to make something meaningful, but I'm afraid we're going to be overwhelmed by all of it."
Yoongi's hand gently stroked my arm, as though offering a quiet reassurance. "I get that," he said softly. "It's a lot of pressure. And it's not just the app... it's the whole 'soulmate' thing too. We're supposed to be this perfect pair, and I don't know, sometimes I wonder if we're really up for the task."
I let out a soft, nervous laugh. "I think we're still figuring that out."
I paused, my fingers finding Yoongi's in the quiet dark. "It's a lot of responsibility. And sometimes, I get scared. Scared of failing, scared of letting people down. But... I don't want that to be what defines us. I just want to be with you. To be enough for each other. That's all I can really focus on."
Yoongi's voice was low, filled with sincerity. "I don't need anything else either. We've got each other, and right now, that's all that matters."
I could hear the truth in his words, feel the honesty in his touch as he held me close.
There was comfort in his presence, in the way we understood each other without needing to explain everything.
For now, we had this-our bond, our connection, and the quiet understanding that we were in this together, no matter what came next.
Yoongi pressed a gentle kiss to my forehead, lingering for a moment as though to seal the sentiment. "We'll figure it out."
And with that, the quiet weight of the world faded, leaving only the warmth between us.
________________
The boardroom was constantly buzzing, a whirlwind of ideas, strategy sessions, and back-to-back calls as we worked tirelessly to get everything in place.
The pressure of the upcoming fundraising event, the new features for the LoveMap app, and the nonprofit collaboration all seemed to collide, creating an ever-growing list of tasks to tackle.
Ha Eun was already deep in discussion with the marketing team, outlining strategies for the event's promotion, while Jae was buried in wireframes, tweaking the designs for the donation feature.
Si Woo, our lead developer, had his fingers flying over his keyboard as he worked with the tech team to ensure our backend systems could handle the load.
Yoongi, as always, was quietly focused, reviewing security protocols to make sure every feature was locked down tight.
It felt like there wasn't enough time in the day to get everything done. We were all pushing ourselves to the limit, but there was a shared energy that kept us going.
Everyone knew the stakes were high, but we were determined to make this a success.
The momentum was unstoppable.
