Yoongi smiled quietly, his focus unwavering. "As long as they're talking about the positive impact we're making, I'm good with that."
I nodded, feeling the weight of everything ahead of us but also the immense pride in knowing this was bigger than just an app update.
We were creating something that could change the world.
"Let's make it happen," I said, my voice steady with resolve. "We've got this."
Despite the busyness, there was a constant, comforting presence beside me-Yoongi.
Though we both worked long hours, we found moments between the chaos to be with each other. Whether it was a soft touch when passing by or a quiet conversation over takeout at the end of a day, the little gestures spoke volumes.
It was in the way he'd place his hand on my back when we'd walk side by side, or how his voice would soften when he spoke to me.
Tonight, as I walked into my apartment after a long day, I felt the familiar weight of exhaustion.
I hadn't expected to see Yoongi tonight; our schedules had been so packed.
But when I opened the door, there he was, looking casual in dark jeans and a simple shirt, yet still somehow making my heart skip.
"Hey," Yoongi greeted softly, his eyes warm as always. "I thought I'd stop by. I brought some dinner."
"Perfect timing," I said, smiling and stepping aside to let him in. "You read my mind."
Yoongi set the bag of takeout on the counter and turned to me, his gaze lingering for a moment before he spoke again. "You look tired. You okay?"
I nodded, trying to keep my exhaustion in check. "Just a long day. But I'm glad you're here."
We settled on the couch with our food, the comfortable silence between us as we unpacked the boxes.
I could feel the tension in my shoulders slowly melting away, the familiarity of his presence like a balm to my frayed nerves.
As we ate, we talked about the updates on the LoveMap app, our roles in the project, and all the moving parts that were coming together.
Yoongi had his usual sharp focus, but there was something more tender in his demeanor when he spoke with me.
"You know, we've come a long way with this," he said, his voice low, his eyes meeting mine as he wiped his mouth with a napkin. "We're making something real here. Something that can actually make a difference."
"Yeah," I replied, my voice quiet. "It feels crazy sometimes. Like we're on the edge of something big."
Yoongi smiled, but there was a certain depth to his expression that I hadn't seen before. It was as if he was reflecting on how much we'd already accomplished, and how much more was to come.
"I'm proud of you," he said softly, and my heart gave a little flutter.
I wasn't sure if it was the stress of the day or his quiet sincerity, but the warmth of his words hit me harder than I expected.
I smiled, grateful for his support. "I couldn't do this without you, Yoongi."
He looked at me for a long moment before his hand reached over to rest on mine.
His fingers were warm, a contrast to the coolness I'd felt from my work. He gently squeezed my hand, offering silent reassurance.
The way he looked at me-steady, supportive-sent a rush of comfort through me, a reminder that no matter how overwhelming everything felt, I wasn't facing it alone.
