Chapter 10: A Project With A Purpose

Start from the beginning

I leaned against the table, trying to pull my thoughts together. "I want people to feel like LoveMap isn't just an app-it's a movement. We're not just matching people, we're giving them the tools to make real change. Let's highlight that, make sure they see this isn't just about love. It's connections. It's about creating a better, more inclusive world."

Ha Eun nodded, taking down notes. "Got it. We'll make sure the message is clear. It's time people understood what we're building here."

I turned to see Jae, striding into the room with his usual confidence. "So, here's the deal," he said, his voice light but laced with excitement.

"I've got the wireframes ready for the donation feature. I think we can make it look sleek but intuitive-users need to feel comfortable giving without any hesitation. I'll be working closely with Suga to make sure it's secure but also seamless."

Yoongi, who had been quietly sitting at the other end of the room, headphones around his neck, looked up and gave Jae a small nod. "I've already started reviewing the security specs for the donation feature. We'll implement encryption protocols and two-factor authentication to make sure all sensitive data stays safe. But we'll need to test it rigorously before it goes live."

"Perfect," I said, my mind already racing through the logistics. "Jae, I want this to be as simple as possible. One-click donations, easy access to the causes, and a clear visual cue to show how donations are making a difference. Users shouldn't feel lost or overwhelmed."

Jae grinned. "You got it. Simplicity is key. We'll make sure it's fluid but impactful."

At that moment, Si Woo, our lead developer, walked in with his usual sense of urgency. "Hey, team, I just got an update from the server side. We might need to tweak some of the back-end systems to support these new features. It'll take some time, but nothing we can't handle."

I exhaled slowly, mentally stacking all the tasks we had ahead. "Alright, we're on it. Ha Eun, Jae, Yoongi, make sure we're on the same page with the tech team. I want everything synced perfectly. Si Woo, give us an estimate by the end of the day on how much time we're looking at for integration."

Si Woo gave a quick nod, jotting something down on his tablet. "You got it."

Yoongi's calm voice cut through the room again, bringing me back to the present. "Once we finalize everything, we'll need a dedicated testing phase. I'm thinking a closed beta for the donation feature-get a small group of users to test it out and report any glitches before it goes public."

I appreciated Yoongi's methodical approach. He always had a way of slowing down the chaos.

"Good call. Let's make sure everything is airtight before the fundraising event."

As we continued to discuss the finer details, I could feel the weight of the responsibility on my shoulders.

But it wasn't overwhelming. It was motivating.

We were on the verge of something huge, something that could truly make a difference. And I knew, with this team, we'd pull it off.

Ha Eun leaned back in her chair, tapping her pen on the desk. "I've already drafted some emails to send to influencers and partners. I'll send you the first round for approval, Y/N, but I think we're on the right track."

I gave her a thumbs-up. "Sounds great. Keep the momentum going. Let's make sure we're not just launching a feature-we're launching an entire movement. I want people to be talking about the Purple Hope Project for months to come."

Jae grinned, leaning back in his chair, clearly excited. "Once this goes live, I'm sure people will be talking about how we did it, not just what we did."
