He chuckled softly, and I couldn't help but notice the way his eyes sparkled when he smiled.

There was something about his demeanor that made everything feel effortless, even though I was internally freaking out.

The fact that he wasn't judging my awkwardness or awkward attempts at humor made him even more swoon-worthy.

We walked to his car, and I could feel myself getting a little more nervous.

The awkwardness was still hanging in the air, and I wasn't sure how to break it.

I kept my hands busy, fiddling with the hem of my dress as we moved, trying to avoid tripping over anything.

As I slid into the passenger seat, Suga started the car, and the soft hum of the engine filled the space between us.

For a moment, neither of us spoke, and I realized how much I was actually enjoying the quiet.

His presence was calming, even though my heart was pounding in my chest.

"So, uh... where are we going, exactly?" I asked, trying to break the silence.

Suga glanced at me with a smirk. "If I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise. You've got to trust me on this one."

I narrowed my eyes, trying to be sly. "Are you sure you're not just taking me to some super fancy restaurant and then putting me through some elaborate, "get to know you" game where I'll end up answering weird questions like, 'What's your deepest, darkest fear?'"

He laughed softly, the sound low and smooth. "No weird questions. I promise. Just... trust me."

I swallowed, trying not to panic. "Okay, I'll trust you. But, uh, just so you know, if you make me do something ridiculous, I will hold it against you for the rest of your life."

"Noted," Suga replied, his tone light, but there was something about the way he said it that made me feel like I wasn't the only one who was feeling a little nervous.

The drive wasn't long, but my anxiety seemed to stretch the minutes out like taffy.

Finally, we arrived at a cozy little café tucked away in the corner of the city.

It wasn't anything flashy, but there was something inviting and charming about it.

The soft lights overhead and the warmth that spilled out from the windows made it feel... intimate.

I looked at Suga, who had already gotten out of the car and was holding the door open for me.

There was something about the way he took care of everything, like he was always one step ahead in making sure I felt comfortable.

He was effortlessly cool, sure, but he was also kind. Sweet, even.

"After you, M'lady," he said, his voice playful.
