"Call me Alex. I can do it."

After I said that Emma's intimidating look faltered and was replaced by a look of approval. "I like your attitude Alex. Here's my number, we'll keep in touch," she handed me the small piece of paper and walked away smiling. I, on the other hand, felt like I had just dodged a huge bullet.

I looked down at the number in my hand and stuffed it in my pocket while walking out the front doors. Looking down, I took one step forward and stumbled back. I felt two strong hands pick me up before I hit the ground.

"Thanks," I mumbled, looking up to see who had just saved me from an embarrassing fall. I immediately stepped back when I saw Daniel standing there, looking at me nervously.

His expression turned to one of hurt when I practically jumped out his grasp. "What are you doing here Daniel?" I asked. "I saw you down on stage talking to that girl so I waited here. Alex, there's not a day that goes by that I don't regret what I done with Olivia--"

"As you should." I interrupted. He let out an exaggerated exhale before continuing.

"I was just so hurt when I heard you went on a date with Keith. I thought you were different, a girl that wouldn't go head over heels for the guy and I guess rage took me over--"

"Well, um, listen. I have to find Cat so let's speed this up dude," I said tapping my bare wrist where a watch was to be seated.

"Alex, what can I do to get you back?" I felt my right eyebrow rise very slowly as I gave Daniel a once-over. Agreeing with my better judgement I stepped to the side of him and began walking away.

"If you think I'll just let you walk away without a fight you have another thing coming Alex!" I heard him shout to my back. I twisted my upper-body real quick and gave him an air-kiss and continued my walk. Maybe he should go search for Gina in the county jail instead.

"You're not going to the dance because?" Catherine asked me, searching through multiple dresses. After the announcement and my first meeting of the Dance Committee Cat insisted on shopping for dresses before they all went out.

"Because I find it embarrassing to go without a date." "I know of one willing candidate that'd like to go with you."

 "I'm not going with Keith..."

"WHY?! He likes you and you're too damn stubborn to admit you like him back!" Catherine picked out a dress and her eyes lit up. "This is it," she whispered and began walking toward the dressing room. I decided not to reply on her previous comment, there was no point in arguing with Cat.

"I'm so going to beat Olivia this year at the dress contest. We always have a bet and if I win for the first time she'll owe me fifty bucks." she gave me a thumbs up and stepped into the dressing room. I sat down on the couch outside the doors and sat down, casually taking a People Magazine somebody had graciously left and began to skim through it. After five minutes I began to get fed up.

"Cat get out here!" I shouted, turning attention from patient mothers and employees toward me. Catherine stepped out in that moment and I gasped. She was dressed in the prettiest dress I ever seen. It was an elegant purple color and the end of the dress draped a few inches behind her.

It was split in the chest area and then at the waist as a beautiful belt design that was embedded into the dress. After those details the bottom after the embedded belt just cascaded down and seemed to twirl at every step. The dress was gorgeous. "It's beautiful Cat." I complimented reaching out to feel the fabric.

"Thanks. I wonder what mask I should wear with this." she said, looking down at the dress herself.

"White or black should look pretty with it." I suggested.

"I'm going to put this back and purchase it. Keith should be here any second. I refuse to take the bus again," she commented, stepping back into the room.

"Since when did you speak to him?!" I demanded.

"In the room," she closing the door behind her.

"Why would you do this to me?"

"You guys must get together. You two are so annoying. John and I talked yesterday and we're getting you guys to date no matter what you say. Mainly you," she shouted through the door. I glared at the door as if I could penetrate through it and attack Cat just by my death stare. Fuck. My. Life.

I had to end there because my annoying butt-faced sister wants to go on Toontown and she's been asking for a while. Picture of Catherine's dress will be posted on the side OH! and BTW this story is coming to an end :( idk how many more chapters but it should be too much. it'll end maybe mid-thirties.
