This ask is from Weirdshiper 3.0 on Quotev!: Hi again. I have once again come to annoy you with my oddly specific questions. Here, have a peace offering *chucks a teddy bear at macaque and wukong* anyways, we all know the story of how wukong came from the stone, but where did macaque come from? Was he born from a similar force of nature? Does he have biological parents? Is he a normal monkey that somehow developed sapience one day?
Also, how the HECK was macaque present in monkey cop if he was still dead/under lbd's control when it was filmed?
Finally, a question for wukong: in the first few chapters of journey to the west it's mentioned that you had a counsel consisting of two old female baboons and/or mandrills and two old male gibbons. Considering you made a bunch of your other monkey friends immortal are they still on flower fruit mountain? Did they ask for their names to be put back in the book of death because they were sick of their feeble old bodies? Are they retired in Florida playing shuffle board with other beings that were elderly when they became immortal? I need answers.

The table that Wukong had thrown out the window had been their coffee table.
And he did do what Macaque had asked and replaced it.
He just wasn't amused that the previously black coffee table was now replaced by a damn peach-shaped and peach-coloured one.
Macaque really should have known better than to let Wukong shop alone.
So he did the only logical thing.
Macaque: You aren't allowed to shop alone anymore.
His golden-furred mate slumped with a small pout.
Wukong: Yeah, okay, fair.
Wukong didn't regret buying the peach-shaped coffee table, though, because to the peach lover, it was WAY better than the solid black one Macaque had gotten when they'd finally reconciled.
Macaque didn't really share his mate's thoughts, though... I guess it being round was a positive since you couldn't get stabbed by a pointy corner when a table's circular, right?
He didn't get to ponder on that thought any longer, for the floating screen that had forced its way into their lives with random questions upon it once again shimmered into existence before both King and Warrior.
Both black and golden monkeys looked at the screen. A second later, a teddy bear came flying out of it, pulling a startled yelp from the Great Sage when it smacked him dab in his stupid face.
Macaque snickered at him.
Wukong retaliated with a glare.
Macaque was unaffected.
Wukong huffed and turned his attention to reading the question brought to them.
After a few more snickers, Macaque joined him in reading.
The black-furred simian tilted his head a little and hummed as he popped a slice of plum—that he got from WHO knows where!—into his mouth and chewed slowly before swallowing.
Macaque: I was born from a stone, but I was also born from the wind, so take from that what you will.
Wukong then followed up with an answer to the second question.
Wukong: Also, Macaque was in Monkey Cop because I told the person making it about the Six-Eared Macaque, and they did THAT from me just talking about my at-the-time still-dead mate.
Said shadow monkey coughed into his fist and looked to the side with a small sweatdrop on the side of his face.
Yeeeah... this guy had already been brought back to life by LBD a month before that particular episode aired, not that Macaque was going to tell Wukong that.
Fortunately for Macaque, Wukong didn't appear to notice the dark-furred monkey's sudden nervousness, too busy reading the final question.
His golden eyes filled with sadness and grief untold.
Wukong: The monkeys that you speak of... are no longer part of the mortal plane.
Monkey King closed his golden eyes and bowed his head as if in silent mourning.
Wukong: I truly do wish that they HAD retired far away from the mountain, but...unfortunately that was not meant to be.
He gritted his teeth with a growl, fist clenching tightly at his side.
Wukong: The Celestial Realm made sure of that!
Macaque chirped and placed a hand on Wukong's shoulder in hopes of consoling him if only slightly.
Wukong chirped back, placing his own hand over Macaque's and giving a small, partly sad smile, which the black-furred simian returned with his own, for he too remembers the day they lost it all.
