For Macaque, New Year's was spent caring for his stupid, hungover mate.
For Wukong, New Year's was spent regretting his life choices of drinking 15 bottles of strong Celestial alcohol that could have killed the dead Jade Emperor because he had only JUST gotten over the cursed hangover it gave him.
Macaque called Wukong stupid for drinking that much just because it tasted like peaches.
Wukong regrettably had to admit that Macaque was right and that he should have stopped at 2.
Macaque became smug at Wukong admitting to his blunder, but the dark-furred monkey couldn't say anything about him being right because the floating screen appeared, grabbing the attention of both monkeys.
Both read the question, but seeing it was for Wukong, the dark-furred monkey wandered off to the kitchen to start preparing breakfast for the both of them.
Wukong quickly called after him.
Wukong: I want peach pancakes!
Macaque called back, sounding amused.
Macaque: I know!
The golden-furred monkey smiled as his tail wagged at the prospect of eating Macaque's peach pancakes.
Looking back at the floating screen, Wukong answered the question with a happy chirp.
Wukong: The music I favour out of Pop, Rock, and Classical is actually Rock, but my overall favourite music is Country, just like its Macaque's second favourite, with Rock being his favourite.
Macaque called from the kitchen.
Macaque: Pancakes are ready!
Wukong jumped up and ran to the kitchen with a cheer.
Wukong: WOO! PANCAKES BITCH!
Macaque: WUKONG, WATCH YOUR FUCKING LANGUAGE!
The Monkey King huffed.
Wukong: Who are you, Captain America?
Macaque glares.
Macaque: No, I'm your mate who can take your peach pancakes away.
Wukong threw himself to cover his precious pancakes.
Wukong: Nooo, not the peach pancakes!
Macaque gave him a done look.
Wukong took off running with the peach pancakes.
Macaque gave chase.
