This ask is from FresaStar190 on AO3!: To macaque: what would happen if 'someone' (male female anyone really) flirt your sunny monkey mate there, or tries to get close to them or make a move at them?

Wukong was currently training MK on top of the mountain while Macaque remained inside the coolness of their house, though he did make sure to remind the golden monkey to ask MK about what this so-called "pizza" was at the end of the training session.

Wukong had replied with a snort, and here Macaque quotes, "No need to remind me, Plums. I never forget." To that, Macaque had scoffed and brought up the 20 times Wukong had forgotten their courting/dating anniversary every year for the first 20 years of their relationship back when they were younger.

The reminder had the golden-furred king chuckling and sweating nervously before he started rambling about getting ready for MK's arrival and bolting out the hut's door.

Macaque sighed as he sat cross-legged on the couch eating a bowl of cut-up plums & mangos as he watched a random show called "Bluey." It was a show meant for cubs, but since the first episode started playing half an hour ago, Macaque hasn't been able to tear his eyes away from the damned TV. The black-furred monkey just hopes his mate doesn't catch wind of him finding interest in a cub's show because he'd surely never hear the end of it if he did.

Just as Macaque was watching Bandit 'giving birth' to Bingo, another type of screen appeared, blocking Macaque's view of the Bluey episode and causing him to groan in disappointment, but he quickly straightened up and turned his disappointment into a blank look as he read over the question before him. 

As he finished reading, the blank look he put on twisted into a snarl as his amber eyes flashed a bright purple while a growl fought to escape as the start of one rumbled in his chest. 

Macaque: If someone even DARED to flirt, make a move, or even take my sunshine away from me, they'd meet a very unfortunate end in a demon's stomach!

In the background, MK had entered the hut to grab a water bottle, but upon hearing a very clear threat of eating someone alive, the Monkie Kid wisely raised his hands and slowly backed out of the hut before booking it back to his mentor empty-handed.
