Macaque had retreated to his secret stash while he tried to get the bleeding from his nose under control something that has never happened to him outside of battle before.

With one of his fluffy plum perfume-soaked blankets wrapped around him, the warrior held a wet black & purple face washer to his nose as he stared at one of the many piles in his hoard.

There was one GIANT difference between Macaque's hoard and Wukong's, though.

Where Wukong's hoard was piles upon piles of unorganised artefacts and other junk. Macaque's was piles upon piles of strategically organised treasures and other precious items he's collected over the centuries before his death and some he's added since being revived.

His collection of fluffy blankets were a newer addition which were added a week into his revival after he stole an army green one for warmth and discovered how fucking fluffy and warm they were! So when he got his hands on some money and brought his Dojo along with other things necessary for survival in this new era, he ended up spending the rest of the money on a number of fluffy blankets, mainly black & purple ones.

All of which he moved to his secret stash when he moved back to Flower Fruit Mountain.

He still owns the Dojo too. Though since he has no real need for it now that he has returned to his original home, the black monkey is currently renting it out.

Anyway, Macaque was just allowing his eyes to roam over a pile of precious items when the floating screen appeared within sight and spat a piece of paper out at the shadow user.

With a hum, he snatched it out of mid-air and read over it, becoming confused when all that was on the paper were names of several demons that lived both in and out of the city.

Looking up at the floating screen, he quickly read over the message that came with the paper, and within a split second, his confusion turned into fury, amber eyes flashing purple as a furious snarl ripped free from his throat.

Macaque: The streets are about to be flooded a lovely shade of red!

Dropping the fluffy blanket and wet face washer, Macaque disappeared into his shadows quicker than you could say 'Grell Sutcliff.'

Soon after, the floating screen also disappeared in search of another monkey.

~Meanwhile With Wukong!~

The guy wasn't able to find the source of the blood, but what he did manage to find was a small container with peach & cream slice inside it at the very back of the fridge.

He has no idea why it was at the very back of the fridge, and he could really care less since he was currently eating them while lounging back on the couch, which still smells strongly of lime and likely will for a long time yet.

Wukong was biting into what was possibly his 4th peach & cream slice in under two minutes when the floating screen descended from the ceiling and started spitting out a multitude of skirts and hoodies onto the poor unsuspecting Monkey King.

A very unkinglike screech left the Monkey King as he was suddenly buried alive under a number of different fabrics.

In a struggle to get his head above the fabric, Wukong accidentally dropped the container housing the peach & cream slice onto the floor. The one in his hand had also fallen to its floorie death.

Finally, after a valiant struggle, Wukong was finally able to pop his head free of the fabrics and breathe deeply before heaving a sigh.

For the moment he decided to put off mourning his poor slice for later as he, for the moment, focused on the skirts and hoodies currently covering his person.

Looking the pile over, he slowly picked each one up and inspected it before carefully folding them and sitting them on top of the peach-shaped coffee table.

Most of the clothing were skirts, with only a handful being hoodies.

The first skirt he picked up was yellow with flowers decorating it.

The second skirt was a black & pink plaid one.

The third skirt was a mango orange.

The fourth skirt was ocean blue.

The fifth skirt was one covered in a monkey design.

The sixth skirt was black with golden dragons.

The seventh skirt was black with a blue flame design.

The eighth skirt was white with cherry blossoms.

The ninth skirt was a beautiful lilac.

The tenth skirt was a plain but beautiful turquoise.

And finally the eleventh skirt was white with sunflowers.

Once Wukong had neatly stacked the folded skirts, he moved onto the small number of hoodies.

The first hoodie was black & purple.

The two colours Macaque seemed to favour as was shown when he brought their new couch, which was black & purple, not to mention the recliner chair that came with the couch.

The King carefully folded the hoodie and set it next to the pile of equally neatly folded skirts before moving on to the next hoodie.

The second hoodie was a golden-coloured one.

That one was also neatly folded.

The third hoodie was baby blue, which was followed by the fourth hoodie, a baby pink one.

The last hoodie was black with red inside of the hood and a giant red skull on the front. Wukong had a feeling Macaque was going to steal this one from him at some point.

Folding it, the King placed it on top of the others before turning his attention to the floating screen and reading over the message he really should've read first, but oh well.

The golden monkey couldn't help but smile.

Wukong: I do love skirts. I don't wear them all the time, but I definitely do enjoy wearing them whenever I feel like it. So thanks for the skirts and the hoodies. I'll definitely be wearing them around at some point!
