This ask is from Sakurabloom_26 (Sakurabloom11211996) on AO3!: Question for Macaque: How do you feel about the fact that Wukong (technically) has a cub (MK) with someone else (Nüwa)?

Macaque had been feeling mischievous today, so while Wukong was still asleep, Macaque had snuck out of their nest and grabbed some whipped cream before sneaking back into their room and putting half the contents of the can onto Wukong's outstretched hand.

With a smirk, Macaque pulled a feather out of Wukong's bedside table (don't ask why Wukong has a random feather in his bedside table because even Macaque doesn't know) and gently started to run it along Wukong's nose and cheeks.

Macaque watched as Wukong's face scrunched up and his nose wiggled before the hand full of whipped cream flew up and smacked himself in the face, sending whipped cream flying everywhere and covering his face completely in the stuff, causing Wukong to jolt awake.

Macaque let out a surprised laugh at the amount of whipped cream that both covered Wukong's face and went flying around the room.

Wukong whipped his head in Macaque's direction, though he was currently trying to get whipped cream out of his eyes.

Wukong: MACAQUE!!

Macaque cackled at his mate's misfortune before quickly sinking into one of his shadow portals. 

He could still hear Wukong cursing him as he wandered around the Shadow Realm.

Macaque had been wandering around the Shadow Realm for a little under 10 minutes when the floating screen appeared. The question upon it was lit up in bright pink neon letters to be easier to read in the darkness.

Poor Macaque wasn't ready for the sudden brightness to appear in front of him and blind him, so you couldn't blame him for hissing like a vampire and blinking 100 times a second to help gain his vision back as quickly as possible.

Once he finally managed to regain his vision, Macaque squinted at the brightly lit question in front of him and mouthed the words as he read it.

Once finished, he shrugged lightly.

Macaque: I'm fine with MK. Even see him as my own cub. Wukong and I have even casually talked about actually officially adopting MK.

Macaque's eyes suddenly narrowed, and a growl started rumbling from him.

Macaque: But the part of MK's existence that I DON'T like is that damned Goddess!

Fists clenched, he continued.

Macaque: If the only way to reach Nuwa wasn't that godforsaken Pillar of Heaven, I'd show her what happens to those who get in the way of a monkey and his cub!
