You and Cas are laying in a field looking up at the darkening sky. It's a random field. There is no reason as to why you both chose to lay in it. You've both been in the field since the afternoon, just talking about useless stuff or mumbling your way through serious conversations.

You both lay there as the sun starts to set and the stars begin to shine. The moon comes up and lights up the sky along with the stars. There isn't a cloud in the sky, making the scene so much more beautiful. You lay there stone still with the only noise is of you two both breathing with the occasional chirp of a cricket.

The air is cool against your hot still bodies. A ever so slight wind cools you down from the once hot summer heat from the day. The temperature around you both is cooling down as the moon is raising higher into the stary night sky.

You and Cas went out into the field when Dean and Sam were on a hunt. By now they are probably worrying when they find you are not in the motel room. You didn't care at the moment. You were so at peace and calm with Cas next to you while holding onto your hand as you watch the sky.

"Cas, I love you." You say out of no where and roll over onto your stomach looking at Cas. He stays still as stone and doesn't move a muscle.

"I love you y/n." Castiel says back after a moment and rolls onto his stomach looking into your eyes.

"I don't want this to ever change." You say and crawl onto Cas' chest. You can feel his heartbeat steadily as you breath together at the same pace. You lay there and think no matter what happens you want to spend the rest of your life with Castiel. Slowly your eyes slip close with your breathing steadying. You fall asleep on Castiel's chest in the middle of your field.

"Me either." Castiel responds after you fall into a peaceful sleep. After a few more moments, Castiel slides his arm under your legs and back and bring you back to the room you are staying in at the Winchester's choice of motel. Castiel lays you down on the motel bed and gives your kiss on you forehead before leaving the room.

Few weeks later

You walk in on Sam and Dean looking up research for a case their on. You wrap your blanket around your several layers of clothed body tighter, you've been feeling extremely cold recently. Your hair is mess, evidence that you took an afternoon nap. You walk on cool linoleum tiles without no socks making you want to curl your toes.

"Sam? Dean?" You ask out in a sleepy voice from napping for almost five hours. Too long for a hunter anyway, too long in general. They turn their heads around from the small askew table piled high with old books and an old laptop. "Do you know where Castiel is?" You ask quietly.

Castiel, your boyfriend, has been gone for almost a whole month. Now that may not seem long, but to a hunter that can mean you probably died on a case or worse. It could also mean absolutely nothing, but you know something is wrong you can feel it. And you don't want to think about the worst at the moment, so you expel it from your mind.

"No, sorry y/n." Sam says and goes back to his research for a case him and Dean are working on. Usually you would be working with them, but you're going to sit this one out because you found out you have innocent heart murmurs, and you have to take medication before they finally go away on their own. Until then it's not a good idea for you to do activities that may cause your heart to beat too fast.

You turn your head towards Dean for an answer and he just lightly shakes his head no. You sigh out a heavy breath and you feel a hundred times tired all of a sudden from your usual fatigue. You rub your temples with your chilled hands and sit down on one of the brother's bed hunched over, feeling your chest start to constrict. You right then feel like you are going to faint from being lightheaded as you pant for a breath of air. You clutch your chest and fall off the bed onto the ground in a fetal position, gasping for air.
