Hope you like the first chapter! I was going to bring Mark into play but the chapter got quite long so I ended it there, he will be in the next chapter!
A few things: I always like a story or film with a cat, so I bought Simba into this. My cat is a ragdoll called Isabelle, I was considering her being the cat but I saw the picture (in the first chapter) and just thought he could be the cat, and I imagined his name being Simba! Also I think flame point Siamese are beautiful.
I also think it's cute calling your Mum Mommy :)
