Pt.40 kacy and mama fight

I hide behind the corner waiting to hear this fight

"KACY MARIE RODRIEGUZ!!" I laugh *oh it means a lot she using the full name*

"What!" Kacy snaps

"YOU WILL NOT DATE JAKE!"
"MAMA! What how do you know that!"

"That isn't important what is is that you are not ducking dating seeing or talking to that kid understood!?!"

"THAT ISNT FAIR!" My mom scoffs

"IT IS TOO HOW CAN YOU DO THAT I RAISED YOU DIFFERENTLY YOU KNWO WHAT HE DID TO Y/N! KACY SHES YOUR BEST FRIEND AND YOU DATE THE ONE GUY WHO ABUSED HER?!?" My mom was so upset and rightfully so

"OH MY GOD MAMA WHY ARE YOU TKAING HER SIDE! SHE IS PLYING THE VICTIM HE TRIED APOLOGIZING A MILLION TIMES BUT SHE WOULDN'T ACCEPT IT HE DIDN'T MEAN TO HURT HER AND SHE AGGRAVATED HIM IT WASN'T HSI FAULT!!!"

"YOUNG LADY!! HOW CAN YOU SAY THIS YOU ARE GROUNDED I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU WOUDL DEFEND A MAN LIKE THAT I CERTAINLY DID NOT RAISE YOU LIEK THIS AND I DON'T KNWO WHAT HAS GOTTEN INTO YOU!"

"IM NOT DEFENDING HIM IM TELLING THE TRUTH IT WASN'T HIS FAULT!!"

"YOU KNOW WHAT GET IN THE CAR!" She picks the keys up from the counter

"BU-" Kacy so cut off "get in the ducking car right now!" They walk past me

"You too Benny" I immediately walked out the door with them and got into the car

My mom starts driving and we drive for almost 20 minutes when we get to a weird building it's beat up a little and old

"Come on let's go!" My mom demands as Kacy rolls her eyes getting out of the car

"Hi uhm is Amelia roberts still coming here?" My mom speaks kindly to a woman

"Yeah she's just over there" my mom thanks the woman and drags Kacy while I walk over to a lady

She looked around 40 dark hair brown eyes and a constant happy go lucky smile

"Oh Katrina how nice to see you! Oh and are these your young ones they are looking absolutely wonderful now why are you here is everything okay?" The woman hugged my mom it looked like they knew eachother well

"Hi Amelia yes these are my two kids and everything is fine I was just wondering if there are any girls maybe 19-25 who have come in recently that my Kacy here could talk to" she smiles

"Uh yes there's sadly a lot but why?" My mom looks at Kacy who turns her head so instead she explains

"Well Kacy here ruined her and her best friends 11 year friendship after she started dating the guys who abused and beat her best friend bloody on Their first date not even a month ago, now Kacy here won't understand why it isn't okay for her to date this boy at all so I thought why not show her might happen if she does"

"Oh my well here let me take you sophie here uhm she came two weeks ago and she is better about telling her story" the woman walks over to a very young girl she looked not a day over 18

"Sophie hi uhm these two ladies wanted to ask some questions about what happened, are you feeling okay or not because if you aren't comfortable then you don't have to say anything" the girl shakes her head

"No no Amelia I'm fine b it could you stay with me I think it would help a little" we sit down in-front if the girl and Amelia sits beside her holding her hand

The girl looked like she was beaten badly and my heart broke seeing all the bruises she had which I'm guessing were form a boyfriend of some sort

"Ok well as you can see Im not the best looking. It's because of my ex boyfriend John" she pauses "I was in a relationship with John for a while almost three years, at first he would only accidentally push me and apologize immediately and other than that he was perfect and it almost never happened so I thought nothing of it until.. about two years into the relationship he hit me and actually beat me pretty badly, he told me it wasn't his fault and he was sorry and that he loved me so I didn't tell anyone I put makeup over my bruises till they went away and acted as if nothing happened but he kept beating me more frequently and more violently each time once he actually raped me." My jaw drops and I see Kacy look over finally paying attention

"He told me it wasn't on purpose it was just because I didn't want to and he did and told me he wouldn't ever do it again I believed him but he continued beating me and this was from two weeks ago the final time he beat me, we were fighting because I didn't want him to get some games or something he then started hitting me until I fell to the ground he then kicked me repeatedly" after that I managed to stand up and make a break for the front door he tried stopping me but I taserd him and ran I had no where to go until I saw this place I came in here and everything was perfect I was supported and loved by everyone and I'm now doing better" the girl was on the brink of tears

"Kacy do you understand now do you want that to happen to you?" My mom says

"No mom I don't but Jake isn't liek that he hasn't hurt me at all!" Kacy argues

"John didn't either at first but he will if he's done it before in any way he will always do it again" Sophie tells kacy
