Chapter 45

"So you didn't miss me?" She says with a frown on her face.

I gently kiss her cheek and say,"I missed you so much ,love." She smiles and gets off of me

"What are we going to do?" She asks

"To be honest,I also don't know." I say,"but I can help you move your things into your dorm."

Chris POV

"Jason knows about what happened in the bathroom," she says moving back and forth as I stare at her while sitting on top of her office desk.

"What if they catch us,Chris? " what will we do?" She asks me,I stand up and walk up to her

"He won't tell anyone,Anna" I say,gently lifting up her chin so that her eyes and mine could meet,"it's not the first time he has seen us making out after all."

"You're right! I was panicking for no reason,"she wraps her arms around my neck,our lips centimeters apart from each other.  I grab her waist and pull her closer to me

"Yes,try not to stress yourself out,"I whisper in her ear

"I won't," she gives me a peck on the cheek

"I don't want that though," I say with a cheeky smile plastered on my fade

"What do you want then ?" She says,I lean in and we smash our lips together and live the moment

"Annabelle?!!" A voice echoed across the room,who can that be because there's no way you can just abruptly enter a lectures office

Annabelle recognizes the voice and immediately stops kissing me but she doesn't look behind her instead she starts shaking as if someone is about to kill her.

Why didn't I hear anyone open the door ?

I look up and my eyes meet this brown lanky man,he has blue beautiful eyes and a nice physique that suited him perfectly. But he looks like he is in his late 30s if I'm not mistaken. Who can this man be? He looks furious!

I glance at Annabelle,as she is making eye contact with this strange man.
"It's not what it looks like,"she finally finds herself speaking.

"What the fuck do you mean ?" He says angrily," I thought you loved me but here you are cheating on me with this fine young man! Does he even know that you are married?" He starts moving towards her

My heart skips a beat. Husband?!! Did I even know she had a husband? Or maybe I didn't notice.

"Answer m- -" a harsh slap cut the sentence! I could see tears streaming down her face as her face slowly started turning red.

"Hey!" I stand in front of Annabelle so that this man doesn't cause anymore harm to her.
"This isn't between you and I ! It's between her and I! I've wasted so many years with this woman when I would've been with someone who would've treated me right!"

"Why did you come here today though?" I ask politely...

"I wanted to surprise and take her out for dinner!but this stupid ! Agh- -" he cuts his sentence

Something in me felt bad for this man as he spoke to me. He wasn't even upset with me but he was more concerned about Anna

"I know what you mean but you don't have a reason to beat her. What if she files assault charges against you?" I say in a calm tone,looking at Anna cry behind me.

I still like Annabelle but what if she leaves me? For someone better.

Do they ever stay even if they say they won't leave?

"You're right! We are going to have a divorce,I want you out of my damn life!" He storms off and shuts the door behind him.

"What am I going to do,Chris?" She asks,crying on me. I hug her tightly," everything will be alright " I try to reassure her.

"Where will I go ? Where will I stay ?"

"You can stay in the dorm with me,then when I graduate ,you and I can stay together," I utter

"Really!?" She squeals

"I don't want you cheating on me,do you understand!?! Cause I'd kill you," I say in a stern tone. She flinches

"What was wrong with your husband for you to end up cheating on him?!" I ask, curiosity killed the cat.

"He treated me like a diamond ,bought me everything I wanted,did everything to make me happy but even if he did all that it didn't change the fact that I was losing interest in him," she says

"You're telling me he didn't do anything bad?!!! You just wanted to cheat on him? You're stupid do you know that ? He just wanted to give you the world," I break out of the hug and lean against the wall. Anna stays on the same position and faces the ground. Weird

"I know I made a mistake,yes. But even if he did all of that,we didn't deeply love each other due to the amount of fights and arguments we were in. The bad names he called me,it just felt like he stopped loving me." This woman is quite stupid. She's never heard of communication? Sigh.

"There was once a time when I was eavesdropping on his conversation and I overheard him talking to his friend saying ,'I don't really love her,I just want a child with her then I'll later on leave her for a better woman maybe I'll get myself a hot milf who knows"

"Ish! I'm sorry about that,"

I need to tell these people about what just happened! But what if Jason is the one who called the husband? Does he know Annabelle was married?!?

I doubt that he summoned the husband here but I sure do know that Jason isn't behind all of this but either way it's worth a try asking him. "Go talk to him before he leaves,I'm going to talk to Jason " I say

"Talk to him? Talk to him about what?!"she stares up at me

"What's going to happen to your clothes,your career and more!" I say and leave the room
